off by a walk through the canopy of
towering old growth forest. Other highlights
include a walk through the Ancient Empire
and the opportunity to climb Diamond

A fabulous
tour for nature lovers, experience scenic
motoring through Western Australia’s
south west and a walk through the canopy
of towering old growth forest.
Travelling
south through the Blackwood River Valley
we break at Donnybrook fruit store before
continuing to the quaint historic townships
of Ballingup and Bridgetown. Travel
through Western Australia’s old growth
forest to see the 51m Diamond Tree bush
fire watch tower. Climb the Diamond
Tree if you dare, or simply enjoy a
picnic lunch (T1) or lobster
lunch (T1C) in a tranquil
bush setting.
We
then visit the Valley of the Giants
“Tree Top Walk”, a 400m long elevated
walkway through the forest canopy reaching
up to 40m above ground. On the ground
walk through the Ancient Empire of wide
girthed Tingle Trees 5m in diameter.
Visit William Bay and Denmark before
returning to Perth, approximately 10.30
pm following an en route dinner stop
(own expense) at Kodja Place Visitor
Centre.

Strong wind conditions may result in
the closure of the Tree Top Walk, in
which case alternative touring arrangements
will be made.
