1 - PERTH TO ALBANY Option 1: (L,D) Option

We
journey south via farmland country to
reach Western Australia's only mountainous
terrain and take a scenic drive through
the Stirling Range National Park. This
magnificent botanic reserve features
rugged peaks up to 1,000 metres above
sea level. We continue to enjoy the
views travelling by the Porongurp Range
before arriving in the historic port
of Albany late afternoon. From Mount
Clarence Lookout we enjoy panoramic
views over Albany and King George Sound
waterway below. Dinner
& Overnight: Comfort Inn, Albany.
DAY
2 - ALBANY TO PEMBERTON Option 1:

After
coastal sightseeing visiting 'The Gap'
and 'Natural Bridge', we travel via
Denmark through spectacular karri tree
foresets to the coastal resort town
of Walpole. Here we join our local guide
'Gary' for a luncheon cruise on Nornalup
Inlet, widely regarded as one of the
last great wilderness areas. Next stop
is the Valley of the Giants 'Tree Top
Walk' which reaches 40 metres high into
the forest canopy. A ground level walk
is available through the Ancient Empire,
a remarkable pocket of Tingle Forest,
wide girthed trees up to 5 metres wide. Dinner

Pemberton.
DAY
3 - PEMBERTON TO MARGARET RIVER Option

We
begin at the 61 metre tall Gloucester
Tree, a bush fire watchtower lookout,
followed by the Fine Wood Craft Gallery,
Western Australia's most awarded regional
gallery. After morning tea at Beedalup
Falls, we lunch at Australia's most
southwesterly point, Augusta and visit
Cape Leeuwin where the Indian and Great
Southern Oceans meet. Entering the Margaret
River Region, we stop for coastal views
at Surfer's Point Lookout. Dinner
& Overnight: Best Western Emerald
Colonial Lodge, Margaret River.
DAY
4 - MARGARET RIVER TO PERTH Option
1: (B,L,D) Option 2: (B) This
morning we visit Eagles Heritage Raptor
Centre housing the largest collection
of raptors in Australia. We take a guided
tour of Mammoth Cave followed by wine
tasting at Xanadu Winery then a lively
Australian sheep dog and shearing demonstration
at the Yallingup Shearing Shed. Our
last stop is at Busselton Jetty, the
longest wooden jetty in the Southern
Hemisphere, return to Perth at approximately
6.30 pm.
DAY
5 - PERTH & FREMANTLE TOUR Option
1: (B,L,D) Option 2: (B) Starting
in Perth city, the tour takes in all
key attractions and historical points
of interest, starting with Kings Park
botanical gardens, where you will have
time to experience a walk through the
trees canopies on the new Tree Top Walk.
Later we continue to Cottesloe Beach
before arriving at historic Fremantle.
Enjoy a walk down the main street through
cafes and market stalls. Part with the
group for more time here making your
own way home via public transport. Alternatively,
stay on the coach returning to Perth
by road travelling past Perth's exclusive
suburbs and the University of Western
Australia, Perth Royal Yacht Club, the
Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty,
the Bell Tower and finally the Perth
Mint with arrival at approximately 12.30
pm Dinner & Overnight: Ibis
Hotel, Perth.
DAY
5 - PINNACLES DESERT & NEW
NORCIA Option

Today
you enjoy a day trip to the Pinnacles
Desert and New Norcia. Travelling through
the Swan Valley, we reach New Norcia,
home to Australia's only Benedictine
Abbey. Hear the local history before
viewing museum artefacts gifted to the
monastery by Popes and Royalty of Spain.
Afterwards visit the Benedictine Community
produce shop selling olive oil, fruit
wine, New Norcia nut cake and breads.
Continue to the lobster fishing town
of Cervantes for lunch, then onwards
to the mystical Pinnacles Desert. Join
an easy paced walk through the fascinating
landscape before returning to Perth.
Wildflower viewing stops (Aug - Dec)
will be made with arrival in Perth at
approximately 7.30 pm.
