A
journey through the Western Australian
wheatbelt to Wave Rock is combined with
picturesque farm country, historic port
of Albany, sightseeing along the rugged
southern coastline finished off with
a walk through the canopy of towering
old growth forest.

Day
1: Perth to Wave Rock to Perth Option 1 (L, D) Option
2 (no meals)
Heading
east we enjoy morning tea (own expense)
at historic York, the first township
founded in the Avon Valley. Visit the
Dog Cemetery before arriving in Hyden.
We then visit Hippo’s Yawn, a rock formation
which resembles a hippo yawning. We
then break for a picnic lunch at the
Wildflower Shop. See the spectacle of
Wave Rock and the ancient Gnamma Holes.
Whilst here visit either a Wildlife
Park or view a unique Antique Lace Collection.
Leaving
Wave Rock we visit The Humps and finally
Mulka’s Cave. We return to Perth via
a different route and stop at the quaint
country town of Babakin for afternoon
tea (own expense). Arrive in Perth at
approximately 8.30 pm. Dinner &
Overnight: Hotel Grand Chancellor, Perth
or similar.
Day
2: Perth to Albany Option 1
(B, L, D) Option 2 (B)
We
travel southwards via the Stirling Range
and Porongurup Range National Parks,
before reaching historic Albany, Western
Australia’s first European settlement. Dinner
& Overnight: Comfort Inn, Albany.
Day
3: Albany to Tree Top Walk to Perth
Option 1 (B, L) Option 2 (B)
After
coastal sightseeing visiting “The Gap”
and “Natural Bridge”, we travel via
Denmark through spectacular karri tree
forests to the coastal resort town of
Walpole. Here we join our local guide
“Gary” for a luncheon cruise on Nornalup
Inlet, widely regarded as one of the
last great wilderness areas. Gary will
delight all with his incredible knowledge
and love of this area.
Next
stop is the amazing Valley of the Giants,
Tree Top Walk reaching 40 metres into
the forest canopy. A ground level walk
is available through the Ancient Empire,
a remarkable pocket of Tingle Forest,
wide girthed trees up to 5 metres wide.
En
route to Perth we stop for a light evening
meal (own expense) at the Kodja Place
Visitors Centre with arrival in Perth
at approx. 10.30 pm.

Monday departures commence on Day
2 of the above itinerary. Tuesday will
then have overnight accommodation at
Hotel Grand Chancellor with the Wave
Rock Day Tour being on Wednesday, tour
concludes at 8.30 pm.
Monday
departures deduct $20pp, dinner not
