Margaret River Wine Region offers a
superb blend of indulgent experiences
and stunning nature. This tour will
suit wine enthusiasts, offering an afternoon
of wine tasting whilst still enjoying
the diversity of sightseeing and other
attractions.

1: Perth to Margaret River

Luxury
coach transfer to Margaret River with
en route break for morning tea near
Mandurah. Upon arrival in Margaret River
you will be dropped at your hotel for
check-in. (Please be waiting back in
the reception area at 11.45 am for a
12.00 pm departure).
Option 3
passengers will be dropped off at the
All Seasons Margaret River to join the afternoon
wine tour and then check-in to Cape
Lodge. You will then join a local tour
for a very enjoyable afternoon out and
about sampling some of the regions gourmet
delights including a delicious tasting
platter, wine tasting and a visit to
the Margaret River Chocolate Factory
where you will have the opportunity
to sample their delicious chocolate
and purchase a souvenir from their wide
range or enjoy a hot chocolate and truffle
(own expense).
Margaret
River is responsible for producing less
than 2% of Australia’s wine but more
than 25% of Australia’s premium wine,
the selection will be impressive at
the several wineries you visit on tour.
Your guide is well known to the wineries
you visit and will provide you with
an informative commentary whilst touring
the area leaving you with a great insight
into the wine region by the time you
return at approximately 6.00 pm.

Motel, located just out of town centre.
Option 2 (Standard): Margarets Forest Apartments -
Self contained, in the heart of town.
Option 3 (Deluxe): Cape Lodge - Country Boutique Hotel, 30 minutes from town centre. (taxi transfer included on Day 2 to return to Margaret River.
Day
2: Margaret River to Perth
Option 1, 2 & 3 (B, L)
The
morning is yours to browse the main
street of Margaret River township. Enjoy
shops featuring works of local crafts
people, make a visit to the new Margaret
River Wine Showroom. Please return to
the reception of your hotel to meet
your coach captain at 11.45 am to re-join
the coach for an afternoon sightseeing
starting with a visit to Xanadu Winery
for wine tasting then Eagles Heritage
Raptor Centre, renowned for housing
the largest collection of native raptors
in Australia. View them handled close
up and witness their lightning speed
during a free flight display.
Now
explore Mammoth Cave, then pass by Boranup
Forest, before arriving at Augusta’s
famous Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, marking
the dividing point between the Southern
and Indian Oceans. We
break at a café for a light dinner at
the Busselton Jetty (own expense). Return
journey home to Perth arriving back
approximately 9.30 pm.

your stay: For more time to enjoy
the Margaret River wine region, add
another night. You
will have time on Day 2 for more local
sightseeing (own expense)
