WILDFLOWERS OF THE MURCHISON & NORTH WEST COAST - 10 days / 9 nights

DAY 1 New Norcia – Paynes Find – Meekatharra (L/D)
Following your home pick up we travel to New Norcia for morning tea. Continue through the Murchison with its many sheep stations and enjoy lunch at Paynes Find near the Old Ore Batter. Its then on through the gold mining towns of Mt Magnet and Cue for our overnight accommodation and evening meal. Overnight: Auski Motel Meekatharra
DAY 2 Kumarina – Newman (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast we make our way further north to the Gascoyne River and morning tea. We travel on to the Collier Ranges with their rocky outcrops and vast open plains. Lunch today is a Kumarina roadhouse and we then travel to Newman for a tour of the massive ore mine at Mt Whaleback. Enjoy a sun downer atop the lookout before our evening meal. DAY 3 Karijini (B/L/D)
Breakfast today is followed by a visit through the Hamersley Ranges to the spectacular Karijini National Park. We visit the very interesting visitors centre and as much as the park as possible. Morning tea and lunch are in the park before we travel on to our accommodation and evening meal. Overnight: Karijini Eco Retreat
DAY 4 Paraburdoo – Nanutarra – Exmouth (B/L/D)
Today we travel through spectacular rock formations as we make our way to Paraburdoo for morning tea and then on to Nanutarra for lunch. As we travel through the region enjoy interesting commentary sit back and relax enroute to Exmouth for the next three nights. Overnight: Pot Shot Resort Exmouth
DAY 5 Cape Range National Park (B/L/D)
Following breakfast we enter the Cape Range National Park. We spend the day in the park visiting the Mangrove bird hide Turquoise Bay and finally Vlaming Light House before returning to the resort for a swim prior to dinner. Overnight: Pot Shot Resort
DAY 6 Exmouth (B/L/D)
Today we visit Shot Hole Canyon for morning tea. Learn the history of Shot Hole and Charles Knife Canyons and then enjoy the spectacular views over the Exmouth Gulf from Charles Knife
Canyon where we shall have lunch. The afternoon is spent in town or you may wish to relax around the pool. Overnight: Pot Shot Resort
DAY 7 Coral Bay – Shark Bay – Denham (B/L/D)
Today’s touring takes us to Coral Bay to board the Sub Sea Explorer and view corals and tropical fish. We will have morning tea in Coral Bay and its then on to Minilya Bridge and the roadhouse for lunch. Sit back and relax as we travel to south Carnarvon and the world famous Heritage Shark Bay. Enjoy accommodation at Denham for the next two nights. Overnight: Heritage Resort Denham
DAY 8 Monkey Mia (B/L/D)
Following breakfast we make our way to Monkey Mia for a very special chance to meet the dolphins and enjoy an informative talk. Board the Shotover catamaran for a cruise around the bay with morning tea on the beach at Monkey Mia. It’s then time to view wildflowers within the region before returning to Denham to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne to toast the early pearling days in Denham prior to our evening meal. DAY 9 Kalbarri (B/L/D)
After breakfast we travel to Shell Beach and Telegraph Station for morning tea and a short walk to the Stromatolites. Its then on to Billabong roadhouse for lunch before sitting back and relaxing enroute to Hawkes Head lookout and to view wildflowers in the Murchison National Park. After checking into our overnight accommodation we enjoy a very special dinner and a complimentary beverage.

DAY 10 Geraldton – Nambung National Park - Perth (B/L)
Following breakfast we travel south along the costal gorges to Northampton and Geraldton for morning tea. Sit back and relax as we make our way along the coast road to Jurien Bay for lunch at the Hotel. After lunch our final visit is to Nambung National Park to see the world famous Pinnacles at Cervantes. It’s then back to Perth where you will be transferred to your home/hotel.

DAY 1 New Norcia – Badgingarra – Dongarra (L/D)
After your home pick up we make our way to New Norcia for morning tea and then travel to Badgingarra National Park for a picnic lunch and a walk along the ‘wildflower trail’ which is always very rewarding. We then take back roads through Eneabba viewing wildflowers as we travel to Dongara for the next three nights. Overnight: Dongara Hotel Motel
DAY 2 Mingenew – Pindar – Mullewa (B/L/D)
Following breakfast we make our way to Mingenew and enjoy morning tea in Coal Seam reserve whilst viewing everlastings. Then travel to Pindar and visit Tallering Station to view the Wreath flowers and enjoy lunch. It’s then on to Mullewa viewing wildflowers on the ‘walk trail. We then enjoy dinner at the motel. Overnight: Dongara Hotel Motel
DAY 3 Northampton – Kalbarri National Park (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast we make our way to Northampton for morning tea and then onto the Murchison National Park where we spend the morning in the park photographing wildflowers Then its lunch at the Wildflower Shop and a walk through more wildflowers. We then make our way back to Dongara via the coastal drive and enjoy a relaxing dinner. Overnight: Dongara Hotel Motel
DAY 4 Lesueur National Park (B/L)
We bid farewell to Dongara and make our way to the Lesueur National Park to view many different species of flowers and enjoy morning tea.
Lunch today is at the Wildflower Shop in Cervantes where we view wildflowers along the way and stop at many places for photographic opportunities. Travel to Perth where you will be transferred to your home/hotel.

DAY 1 Gin Gin – Badgingarra – Geraldton (L/D)
Following your home pick up we travel to Gin Gin for morning tea and to see the Kangaroo Paws in the area. We then take the Midland Highway via Moora and enjoy a picnic lunch in the Badgingarra National Park with it’s diverse range of wildflowers. We travel further north via Eneabba viewing wildflowers before making our way to Geraldton for the evening. Overnight: Batavia Motor Inn Geraldton
DAY 2 Shark Bay – Monkey Mia (B/L/D)
Today we travel further north to spectacular Shark Bay with morning tea enroute and a visit to Telegraph Station for lunch. Visit Hamelin Pool and Shell Beach to enjoy the wildflowers in the region before making our way to Denham for the evening. Overnight: Heritage Resort Denham
DAY 3 Kalbarri (B/L/D)
Today we visit famous Monkey Mia and enjoy a cruise around the tranquil waters over Ningaloo Reef. Morning tea is on the beach and then travel south through the Murchison to Kalbarri National Park. Lunch is enroute and we view wildflowers along the way as we make our way to Kalbarri for the evening. Enjoy a complimentary drink and a ‘dinner with a difference’ at Finlay’s Restaurant. Overnight: Kalbarri Palms Resort
DAY 4 Kalbarri National Park - Dongara (B/L/D)
After breakfast today we travel to the Kalbarri National Park and spend most of our day viewing wildflowers and enjoying morning tea and lunch enroute. We check into our accommodation at Dongara and enjoy our evening meal. Overnight: Dongara Hotel
DAY 5 Eneabba – Carnamah – Perth (B/L)
After breakfast today we travel south to Eneabba for morning tea before taking the back roads to Carnamah where you will see some beautiful Wreath Leschenaultia. Lunch today is at Coomberdale Wildflower farm and then it’s back to Perth where you will be transferred to your home/hotel.

DAY 1 Perth - Broome (L/D)
Following your home pick up you will be transferred to Perth Airport for your flight to Broome. On arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation. Overnight: Mecure Inn Broome
DAY 2 Broome (B/L/D)
Today’s touring takes us to Gantheaume Point to see foot prints left by ancient Dinosaurs. We spend time in China Town with its diverse range of shops and people. Its then time to visit the Japanese Cemetery where there are many sad tales of the early pearling days in Broome.
We visit Cable Beach before returning for our evening meal. Overnight: Mecure Inn
DAY 3 Sandfire – South Hedland – Marble Bar (B/L/D)
Following breakfast today we bid farewell to Broome and make our way south with the Great Sandy Desert on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. It is not uncommon for us to see camels in the region. Enjoy morning tea enroute and lunch at Sandfire roadhouse.
We continue our journey south west towards South Hedland and then turn inland to Marble Bar for our overnight accommodation.

DAY 4 Nullagine – Karijini National Park (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast we visit the old Commet Gold Mine for a tour and morning tea. We then visit it’s name sake ‘ The Marble Bar’ before travelling south to Nullagine and Karijini National Park for the next two nights. Here we will see wildflowers in this very special park. Overnight: Karijini Eco Retreat
DAY 5 Karijini National Park (B/L/D)
Following breakfast we spend the day in Karijini visiting many of the attractions within the park. We see Oxers lookout circular pool Dale Gorge Fortesque Falls and the very interesting visitors centre. Morning tea and lunch are enroute. Overnight: Karijini Eco Retreat
DAY 6 Newman – Meekatharra (B/L/D)
After breakfast today we make our way to the mining town of Newman and morning tea and take a tour of the world’s largest open cut mine at Mt Whaleback. We then travel to Kumarina roadhouse for lunch then relax as we make our way to Meekatharra and to see wildflowers through the region. Overnight: Auski Motel Meekatharra
DAY 7 Mt Magnet – Paynes Find – Dalwallinu (B/L/D)
Today’s touring takes us to Mt Magnet for morning tea and a look around this mining town before we travel to Paynes Find for lunch at the old Ore Battery and see everlastings in the region.
We continue south stopping to photograph flowers as we make our way to Dalwallinu for the evening. Overnight: Dalwallinu Motel
DAY 8 Perenjori – Carnamah – New Norcia – Perth (B/L)
Following breakfast today we make our way through wildflower country to Perenjori and Carnamar and then on to New Norcia for lunch at the Hotel. It’s then time to sit back and reflect of our travel from Broome to Perth where on arrival you will be transferred to your home/hotel.

Its then on to Bunbury for lunch then travel through Donnybrook along back roads to Capel to view wildflowers. We then make our way to Busselton for the next three nights. DAY 2 Meelup – Canal Rocks (B/L/D)
Following breakfast today we travel to Cape Naturaliste National Park to view wildflowers on the escarpment and enjoy morning tea at Meelup Beach. Take a walk on the board walk at Canal Rocks before visiting the Wardan Aboriginal centre for a guided walk and view wildflowers enroute. It’s then back to Busselton for lunch with some free time before a sun downer by the beach. Overnight: Geographe Bay Resort
DAY 3 Margaret River – Augusta – Alexander Bridge (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast we make our way south to Margaret River for morning tea and then follow Caves road to Hamelin Bay viewing wildflowers along the way. Lunch today is in Augusta before we travel to Alexander Bridge and take back roads to Busselton stopping along the way for photographic opportunities. Overnight: Geographe Bay Resort
DAY 4 Collie – Quindanning – Perth (B/L)
Following breakfast today we travel to Bunbury for morning tea and then to Collie via the Coalfields Highway before taking country back roads to view wildflowers enroute. Lunch today is in Quindanning and after lunch sit back and relax as we make our way back to Perth via Dwellingup.

DAY 1 Brookton – Katanning – Kojonup – Mt Barker (L/D)
Following your home pick up we make our way to Brookton for morning tea then view wildflowers through Pingelly and Narrogin where we walk the wildflower trail. Lunch today is in Katanning and then we take back roads through Kojonup to Mt Barker for the next four nights.

DAY 2 Cranbrook – Stirling Ranges (B/L/D)
Following breakfast we travel to Cranbrook (the home of wildflowers in the South West) to walk the wildflower trail and enjoy morning tea. Then take the very scenic Salt River road through the Stirling’s where we will stop frequently for photographic opportunities. Enjoy lunch at the Dutch Lily windmill and visit Bluff Knoll before returning to Mt Barker. Overnight: Valley View Motel
DAY 3 Albany – Porongorups (B/L/D)
After breakfast today we visit the Mt Barker Banksia Farm for a walk and talk about Banksias and wildflowers in the region. Enjoy morning tea before travelling on to Albany for a walk along the wildflower trail at the Albany wind farm. See spectacular views of the ocean and enjoy lunch in Albany. We then travel to the Porongurups to view wildflowers and colourful clinging vines in the forest before returning to Mt Barker. Overnight: Valley View Motel
DAY 4 Denmark – Walpole (B/L/D)
Today’s touring takes us through back roads to Denmark and morning tea. We visit Ocean Beach Williams Bay and then travel on to the Tree Top Walk for that very special photo. Lunch today is in Walpole before we take forest tracks viewing flowers along the way.
Overnight: Valley View Motel.
DAY 5 Rocky Gully – Bridgetown – Donnybrook – Perth (B/L)
Rocky Gully is our first visit today. We have morning tea and take a walk through the flowers and its then on to Bridgetown for lunch. Travel to Donnybrook with a stop at the fruit barn before returning back to Perth and transfers to your home/hotel.
