The Criterion Hotel, formally the Regatta Hotel Complex opened its doors on the 26th April 1996. It has undergone extensive
re-modelling and refurbishing. It is Perth's oldest hotel with a licence since 1840.
The Criterion Hotel has the best of both worlds - the old and the new. The art-deco facade and some parts of its interior are being
preserved as part of the Heritage Conservation effort to enhance the old style ambience of the area surrounding Hay Street.
The rooms, lobby and its restaurants have been designed to incorporate the style of yester-year yet achieving a modern day look
through studied creative designing.
The grand art-deco facade of the Criterion Hotel greets you as you approach. When you pass the impressive doors, you are
entering into a fresh new world of today.
Designed to accommodate the Perth visitor on business or on vacation, the Criterion Hotel aims to make your stay a pleasant
one.
