Day 1 Mon. Fly to Karratha

Arrive in historic Karratha and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Tue. Millstream-Chichester National Park.
Tour this oasis of palms, lilies and ferns. View the stunning geological wonder of Hamersley Gorge with its natural pool and impressive rock layering.

Day 3 Wed. Karijini Gorges, Guided Mine Tour.
Discover Karijini National Park and its rugged gorges. At Newman, we tour the Mt Whaleback Iron Ore Mine, the largest open-cut mining operation in the world.

Day 4 Fri. Marble Bar, Port Hedland.
Visit Marble Bar, renowned to be the hottest place in Australia – a fact recorded by the Guinness Book of Records. Continue to the mining town of Port Hedland. Stay: Port Hedland, All Seasons Hotel. BD

Day 5 Sat. Sandy Desert, Broome Tour.
Travel to Broome, taking in the vast expanse of the Great Sandy Desert. Tour the historic and natural features of this former pearling capital, including Cable Beach – renowned for its spectacular sunsets and azure waters, and voted ‘Best Beach in Western Australia’ in 2004.

Choose between a hovercraft flight over the Roebuck Bay mudflats, a Pearl Lugger cruise, a sunset camel ride on Cable Beach or a visit to the Manbana Discovery Centre. Take in a famous Cable Beach sunset before our Dine Around Dinner this evening. BD

Day 7 Mon. Boab Prison Tree, Windjana Gorge National Park, Fitzroy Crossing.
Visit Derby and see the massive Boab Prison Tree. Discover breathtaking Windjana Gorge and view marine fossils embedded in the walls that once formed part of an ancient coral reef. Travel into Fitzroy Crossing tonight.

Day 8 Tue. Geikie Gorge Cruise, Halls Creek.
In Geikie Gorge National Park, join the local ranger for a guided cruise of the gorge, with its striking colours of the limestone walls created by the gorge’s annual flooding. This is one of Australia’s most spectacular waterways and home to an abundance of wildlife, including freshwater crocodiles, fruit bats, wallabies, dingoes and many species of bird. Stay: Halls Creek, Kimberley Hotel. BD

Day 9 Wed. Argyle Diamond Mine, El Questro.
Tour Argyle Diamond Mine, the largest in the world, and responsible for one-third of the world’s natural supply including the rare pink diamond. Travel deep into the heart of the Kimberley to El Questro Cattle Station.

Day 10 Wed. El Questro, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Cruise beautiful Chamberlain Gorge, join the History and Bushtucker Tour or take a guided horseback ride. Later, join a guided walk to Zebedee Springs for a relaxing soak in the thermal pools. BD

Day 11 Thur. Wyndham, Kununurra.
Today we travel to Wyndham and visit the Five Rivers Lookout for amazing views of the Cambridge Gulf. Then, continue to Kununurra. Two Night Stay: Kununurra, All Seasons Hotel. BD

Continue to Katherine and then take a guided cruise along magnificent Katherine Gorge with commentary on Aboriginal art, plants and wildlife.

Day 14 Sun. Litchfield National Park, Wangi Falls, Darwin, Farewell Dinner.

Day 15 Mon. Darwin.
Tour the Northern Territory capital. Afternoon transfer to the airport. B
