Day 1. Broome, Board Your Luxury Small Ship, Welcome Cocktail Party.
This afternoon in Broome board your luxurious cruising vessel and commence your voyage along this majestic coastline to Darwin. Enjoy the Captain's 'Welcome Aboard' Cocktail Party, relaxing on deck with fellow passengers.

Day 2. Lacepede Island, Turtle Nursery.
We cruise through Pender Bay and visit the Lacepede Islands. These islands are home to colonies of booby and frigate birds, and a nursery for newborn and injured turtles. Learn about the wildlife and relax on the beach. BLD

Day 3. Crocodile Creek, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Waterfalls.
Today we visit Crocodile Creek. Here explore and enjoy a wim in the freshwater creek. We then cruise to Talbot Bay and the amazing Horizontal Falls where huge tides send water crashing through a narrow gap in the cliff.   BLD

Day 4. Buccaneer Archipelago, Montgomery Reef.
Home to more than 800 islands, the Buccaneer Archipelago experiences tidal ranges over 10 metres. Take part in a fascinating experience this morning when we walk on Montgomery Reef. As the tide ebbs, the reef rises up out of the sea. We then go ashore at Raft Point and visit a secluded Aboriginal rock art gallery. Board the ship’s tender and cruise up one of the many river systems to waterfalls. BLD

Day 5. Camp Creek, King Cascades.
We cruise up the Prince Regent River to explore picturesque Camp Creek and the incredible King Cascades waterfall. The spectacular waterfall cascades over terraced rock formations. Here enjoy time to explore by yourself, perhaps climb above the waterfalls for magnificent views or enjoy a swim in the freshwater rock pools. BLD

Day 6. Careening Bay, ‘HMC Mermaid’ Boab Tree.
Enjoy a relaxing day as we cruise Careening Bay to the site of a large boab tree with the inscription ‘HMC Mermaid – 1820’. We then cruise through Kuri Bay, home of the south sea pearl industry. BLD

Day 7. Prince Frederick Harbour.
Cruising into Prince Frederick Harbour we anchor at Naturalist Island where we spend the day exploring. Here optional scenic helicopter flights are available, taking you above Surveyor Falls, Mitchell Falls and the spectacular Mitchell Plateau (own expense). Enjoy time to explore Naturalist Island, swimming in the fresh water pools. This evening enjoy a sunset beach barbecue. BLD

Day 8. Bigge Island, Gwion (Bradshaw) Rock Art.
Cruise to beautiful Bigge Island with its sandstone cliffs and sandy beaches. Here we explore ancient Aboriginal rock art sites in the island’s caves. Some of the fascinating art sites feature the mysterious Gwion (Bradshaw) paintings. Enjoy leisurely beach walks through this stunning wildlife haven and see if you can catch a glimpse of the smallest of the kangaroo group, the Monjon rock wallaby. This afternoon we visit the sea bird rookeries on Low Rocks. BLD

Day 9. Vansittart Bay.
Today enjoy a leisurely day cruising Vansittart Bay. BLD

Day 10. King George River, Tranquil Bay, Farewell Dinner.
Today relax as we cruise past the lush mangroves, sandy beaches and towering cliffs of the King George River to King George Falls. Here enjoy time to explore the magnificent twin waterfalls aboard the ship’s tenders. This evening on board we enjoy the Captain’s ‘Farewell’ Cocktail Party. BLD

Day 11. Arrive Darwin, City Tour.
Cruising overnight we arrive in Darwin early this morning. This afternoon tour this tropical capital city, visiting sights including the Botanic Gardens, Fannie Bay, the city’s museum and art gallery and other highlights.
Stay:Darwin, Novotel Atrium Hotel. BD

Day 12. Adelaide River, Katherine Gorge Cruise.
Depart Darwin for the town of Adelaide River, and visit the War Cemetery. Head for Katherine for a guided cruise through Katherine Gorge. Stay: Katherine, Knotts Crossing Resort. BD

Katherine GorgeDay 13. Lake Argyle, Ord River Cruise, Kununurra.
Cross the border into Western Australia, and the Kimberley. At Lake Argyle join a cruise of the Ord River. Two night stay: Kununurra, All Seasons Hotel. BD

Day 14. Kununurra Town Tour.
Spend the morning at leisure in Kununurra. Tour the town in the afternoon.


Purnululu Scenic flight and 4 WD Tour.

Day 14 touring may be substituted with touring in Purnululu National Park. Please enquire for details. BD

Day 15. Wyndham, El Questro Station.
Start the day with a tour of Wyndham, the state’s most northerly town. We then travel to El Questro Station, a vast cattle property in the heart of the Kimberley. Two Night Stay: El Questro, Emma Gorge Resort, tented safari cabins with private facilities and views of the Cockburn Range. BD

Day 16. El Questro, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Choose from a selection of touring options at this famed working cattle station. Cruise Chamberlain Gorge seeing ancient Aboriginal rock art, join the History and Bushtucker Tour or explore the station on a guided horseback tour. BD

Day 17. Argyle Diamond Mine, Halls Creek.
Leaving El Questro, we visit Argyle Diamond Mine which produces approximately one-third of the world’s diamond supply. Tour the operations centre and marvel at the rare pink diamonds on display. We then continue to remote Halls Creek. Stay: Halls Creek, Kimberley Hotel. BLD

Day 18. Geikie Gorge Cruise, Fitzroy Crossing.
See Geikie Gorge through the eyes of a local ranger as you cruise between the striking coloured cliffs. Watch for the freshwater crocodiles that live in the deceptively calm waters. This region is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 100 species inhabiting this spectacular area.

Windjana GorgeDay 19. Windjana Gorge, Broome.
Today explore majestic Windjana Gorge, where limestone cliffs tower above glistening white sands. Marine fossils can be seen in the gorge walls, that used to form part of an ancient coral reef. Tonight enjoy an Indian Ocean sunset.  Two Night Stay: Broome, Cable Beach Club Resort, opposite famous Cable Beach.  B

Day 20. Broome, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Take a sunset camel ride on Cable Beach, ride a hovercraft along Roebuck Bay, cruise on an authentic Pearl Lugger or visit the Manbana Discovery Centre. Tonight enjoy our Dine Around Dinner, choosing from a selection of restaurants.  BD

Day 21. Depart Broome.
It’s time to say goodbye to new friends this morning. Transfer to the airport.   B
