2 Nights Bungle Bungle Stayover - ex Kununurra Fly in/Fly out

Day 1: Be amazed by the East Kimberley’s majestic beauty with an early morning scenic flight over many incredible landforms. Fly over the striped Bungle Bungle range radiating in the morning sun before landing.

After enjoying your choice of a scrumptious cooked or continental breakfast at our Bungle Bungle Bush Camp, transfer to the Northern Gorges and spend the morning walking into Mini Palms Gorge. Be surprised by the survival of flora, especially those clinging high up on the near vertical rock faces.

Relax then in the shade with a picnic lunch and appreciate some of nature’s best artwork. The afternoon will see you experience Echidna Chasm, quite simply an enormous groove carved out of rock by nature's forces. Throughout the day your guide will captivate you with knowledge on the Bungle Bungle legacy and ensure that come sunset you are relaxed and enjoying refreshments from a breath taking view.

Enjoy our tantalising smorgasbord in our distinct but casual dining facility.

• Moderate to difficult 5 km walk into Mini Palms Gorge.
• Easy to moderate 2 km walk into Echidna Chasm.

Day 2: After breakfast, visit the famous icons of the Bungle Bungle, the Beehive Domes. These rock towers demonstrate sheer magnificence and words cannot truly serve justice. The turning point of the Cathedral Gorge walk will see you enter an acoustically magnificent amphitheatre where you will experience a memorable picnic lunch. On completion of this walk you will once again enjoy a glorious sunset, sumptuous dining experience and perhaps an evening around the campfire.

• Easy to moderate 3 km walk into Cathedral Gorge.

Day 3: Begin with a delicious breakfast and a morning completion of your scenic flight home over the Western Bungle Bungle, the Ragged Ranges and Argyle Diamond Mine.

Bring:
Torch, small water bottle, toiletries, camera and plenty of film, medication if required, small soft carry bag with limited clothing weighing no more than 8kg.

Wear:
Hat, joggers or rubber soled boots, sunscreen in the hotter months, light clothing, cotton or cotton mix is best.
