DAY 1 - Saturday or Wednesday - Indian Pacific / The Overland
Join the Indian Pacific in Sydney
Spend your first night on the Indian Pacific

you head West through New South Wales

DAY 2 - Sunday or Thursday - Broken Hill and Adelaide
Explore the unique outback city of Broken
Hill on a Whistle Stop Tour† before
reboarding for the rest of your journey to
Adelaide. In Adelaide there’s time for another
Whistle Stop Tour† before you reboard and

With the option to start your holiday in
Adelaide you’ll board the mighty Indian
Pacific at Adelaide’s Keswick Rail Terminal
and enjoy dinner in the Restaurant Car as you
pass the Southern Flinders Ranges. (D)
DAY 3 - Monday or Friday - Indian Pacific, The Nullarbor, Cook, Kalgoorlie.
Salt lake country gives way to the desolate
Nullarbor Plain as you head west, stopping
at one of the world’s most remote outposts,
Cook. Stretch your legs, get some fresh air,
and maybe even meet the locals – all four of
them! Then it’s on to Kalgoorlie, site of the
world’s largest open cut gold mine, where you
can explore and see the rest of the city on an
optional Whistle Stop Tour†. (BLD)
DAY 4 - Tuesday or Saturday - Avon Valley, Perth
The delightful scenery of the Avon River
provides the backdrop for breakfast as you
approach the Western Australian capital where
the afternoon is all yours to shop, explore or
just relax. Your accommodation for the next
three nights is at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. (B)
DAY 5 - Wednesday or Sunday - The Swan River & Fremantle
Today enjoy a full day discovering Perth’s
major tourist attractions onboard a replica
1899 Perth Tram. Your tour includes the
historic port of Fremantle and a cruise on the

DAY 6 - Thursday or Monday - Perth
With so much to see and do in and around
this great city you’ll be glad you have one more
