DAY 1: Sunday or Wednesday
Join The Ghan in Adelaide to Alice Springs After boarding at Adelaide’s Keswick Rail Terminal, your first day on The Ghan begins with a light lunch in the Restaurant Car as you travel North towards Spencer Gulf and Port Augusta. (LD)

DAY 2: Monday or Thursday - Arrive Alice Springs
Your afternoon is free to explore Alice Springs.
Spend the night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. (B)

DAY 3: Tuesday or Friday - Uluru (Ayers Rock) & Kata Tjuta (Olgas)
Join your coach tour to Uluru and check in to the Desert Gardens Hotel. See Kata Tjuta, Walpa (Olga) Gorge and an Uluru sunset. (B)

DAY 4: Wednesday or Saturday - Uluru and Kings Canyon
See or climb Uluru at sunrise then enjoy the Mala Walk, Kantju Gorge and Kings Canyon, staying overnight at Kings Canyon Resort.

DAY 5: Thursday or Sunday - Kings Canyon Walk, Alice Springs
See the awe-inspiring Kings Canyon, 'Lost City', 'Garden of Eden' and Kings Creek Station, then return to Alice Springs and the Crowne Plaza Hotel for 4 nights.

DAY 6: Friday or Monday - Touring Alice Springs
This afternoon see the sights including the historic Telegraph Station, School of the Air and Reptile Centre. (B)

DAY 7: Saturday or Tuesday - Alice Springs
A free day to relax or take one of the many fantastic tours listed on pages 31-33. (B)

DAY 8: Sunday or Wednesday - Palm Valley and Hermannsburg
A 4WD adventure down Finke River to the oasis setting at Palm Valley and on to Hermannsburg. (BL)

DAY 9: Monday or Thursday - Join The Ghan to Darwin
Late afternoon rejoin The Ghan. (BD)

DAY 10: Tuesday or Friday - Katherine
Look around Katherine or enjoy a Whistle Stop Tour† before completing your journey and checking in to the Darwin Central Hotel for the next 2 nights. (BL)

DAY 11: Wednesday or Saturday - Introducing Darwin
Enjoy the city’s historical and contemporary highlights. (B)

DAY 12: Thursday or Sunday - Kakadu National Park
Visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Nourlangie Rock and cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Check in to Kakadu’s Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn for the night. (BL)

DAY 13: Friday or Monday - Ubirr Art Site, East Alligator River Cruise, Darwin
Enjoy an optional scenic flight (additional cost). Join your Guluyambi Cruise, visit the rock art site at Ubirr, the Bowali Visitor Centre and Window on the Wetlands before returning to Darwin to stay at the Darwin Central Hotel overnight. (L)

DAY 14: Saturday or Tuesday - Depart Darwin
One last breakfast then it’s checkout time. (B)
