• Kangaroo Island tour including coach and ferry transfers, Seal Bay and Flinders Chase National Parks, lunch and 1 night’s accommodation.

DAY 1: Monday or Thursday - Darwin
After making your own way to Darwin it’s time to check in to the Darwin Central Hotel, your base for the next 2 nights.

DAY 2: Tuesday or Friday - Darwin to the Tiwi Islands
If you want to see a completely unique side to the Northern Territory, a trip to the Tiwi Islands is a must. The Islands are home to the Tiwi people who are known for their arts and crafts and permanent smiles. The 30
minute scenic flight over to Bathurst Island is a treat in itself, but it’s once you land that the real discovery starts. You’ll see local artists, weaving, painting, totem dances, a smoking ceremony and a Tiwi burial site. You can share some billy tea and damper, swim at a local waterhole and learn about traditional bush tucker, bush medicine and natural fibres and dyes before returning to Darwin. (BL)

DAY 3: Wednesday or Saturday - The Ghan to Katherine
Board The Ghan and travel to Katherine where you’ll have enough time to look around town or enjoy a Whistle Stop Tour† at Katherine Gorge before it’s time to hop back on board for your overnight journey to Alice Springs. (BLD)

DAY 4: Thursday or Sunday - Alice Springs
After arriving in Alice Springs you’ll have time to look around town or enjoy a Whistle Stop Tour† before reboarding the train and continuing South overnight. (BD)

DAY 5: Friday or Monday - Arrive Adelaide
Arriving at Adelaide’s Keswick Rail Terminal this afternoon, you are taken to the Holiday Inn Adelaide. Then you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore Adelaide at your leisure. (B)

DAY 6: Saturday or Tuesday - Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Your day begins with a scenic coach transfer to the Cape Jervis ferry that takes you across to Kangaroo Island. There’s tastings at Clifford’s Honey Farm and lunch at the Parndana Community Hotel. Then a chance to feed Kangaroo Island kangaroos, walk amongst the wild and rare Australian Sea Lions at Seal Bay, watch pelicans feeding and see the Island’s Little Penguins after dark. You’ll stay overnight in Kingscote at the Ozone Seafront Hotel (or similar). (BL)

DAY 7: Sunday or Wednesday - Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
More great island highlights include Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Kelly Hill Caves and Flinders Chase National Park to see the spectacular Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch before heading back to the Holiday Inn Adelaide for the night. (BL)

DAY 8: Monday or Thursday - Package Concludes
Your holiday ends when you check out of your hotel. (B)
