Spirit of Tasmania has a range of accommodation designed to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. Regardless of which cabin you decide on, you’ll travel in comfort – all cabins feature private facilities, adjustable air-conditioning, and a 220-volt socket.

     

Accommodation - Melbourne to Devonport


Deluxe Cabins

Sail in style in a deluxe cabin, which is suitable for two passengers.
Deluxe cabins feature a queen size bed, private facilities and magnificent porthole views.
You will also discover a bottle of sparkling wine in your cabin on arrival.


Twin Cabins

Cross Bass Strait in comfort in a twin cabin with two single beds.
Twin cabins include your own private facilities and your choice of a porthole view or inside cabin.


Four Berth Cabins

Four berth cabins contain four bunk beds and private facilities.
Select from a porthole view or an inside cabin.


Ocean View Recliners

Ocean View Recliners are located in a private lounge accessible only by swipe card. Each seat reclines for comfort and features an individual reading light. Storage for passenger belongings is provided.

The cinema is offered on night sailings and day sailings.


Cots

Cots can be provided for children under 3 years old.
They are only available for non-shared cabin accommodation, with a limit of one per cabin.
Passengers are required to supply their own linen for cots.
 


Passenger Fares

During the summer peak season and other high demand periods you have the option of travelling on a daytime crossing with a passenger fare.

A generous amount of comfortable public seating is available. A specific seat is not allocated, giving you the freedom to move around the ship at your leisure during the sailing. Cabins are available – at night sailing costs.


Cabins for Passengers with Impaired Mobility

Cabins provide wheelchair access with wide doorways, a shower with handheld hose, safety rails, a fold down seat in the ensuite and a flat floor. Wheelchair Accessible Cabins feature large porthole windows, a television and also include an alarm button connected to the medical attendant's station.

Wheelchair Accessible Cabins are three berth. However, a fold up bed is available to accommodate four people. Deluxe Cabins are not wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair accessible Ocean View Recliners are available, which include aisle seats and seats that can be removed. This allows the wheelchair to be locked into place.

Wheelchair accessible public toilets are located on Deck 7. Power points are available in all cabins and specific Ocean View Recliners.

Commode and shower chairs are available on request. There is also a limited amount of wheelchairs available for boarding and disembarking the ship.
