Royal Tasman Launceston to Launceston |

Day 1 - Launceston, Seahorse World Join a morning flight to
Launceston, arriving before 12.40pm Welcomed on arrival and transferred to
your hotel. This afternoon, journey alongside the West Tamar River to Seahorse
World. Encounter fascinating marine creatures before heading to The Grove, a
grand historic home. En route, cross Batman Bridge. Tonight, enjoy our Welcome
Drinks and Dinner. Accommodation: Launceston Grand Chancellor. (D)
Day 2 - Freycinet National Park,
Swansea During lavender
flowering season (December to January), enjoy a tour of Bridestowe Lavender Farm
before travelling to Derby. At Bicheno, visit EastCoast Natureworld. See a
Tasmanian Devil and many other native animals. On to beautiful Freycinet
National Park, where we are joined by a naturalist guide for a walking tour
along the shores of Cape Tourville. Admire the dramatic coastal scenery,
including Wineglass Bay and the Friendly beaches. Later, savour a Tasmanian
speciality - a delicious crayfish dinner (fresh seafood outside cray

Day 3 - Eaglehawk Neck, Port Arthur Historic Site, DINE AROUND
DINNER Back on board
your coach, traverse the Wielangta Forest Drive. Continue on to Port Arthur Historic Site. Join
a cruise on Mason Cove. Spend time
exploring the Port Arthur Historic Site. Take the opportunity to play the
'Lottery of Life' game or stroll around the colourful gardens. This evening
experience our Dine Around Dinner within the Port Arthur Historic Site. Choose
to dine at either the Comfort Inn or Felons. Accommodation: Port Arthur,
Comfort Inn, the only hotel in the Historic Site overlooking the ruins.

Day 4 - Richmond, Hobart, NEW! FREEDOM OF CHOICE TOURING, DINE AROUND
DINNER This morning
take in the beautiful natural sights of the Tasman Peninsula,
including Tasman's Arch, Devil's Kitchen, Tasman Blowhole
and Tesselated Pavement. Explore the historic township of Richmond before continuing to
Hobart. Here, enjoy our Freedom of Choice Touring - it doesn't add a cent to the
price of your holiday. Visit Cadbury's Chocolate Factory, Cascade Brewery
(seasonal closures occur), or Moorilla Estate's prosperous vineyard. Later enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful Royal
Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. This evening, enjoy the freedom of our Dine Around
Dinner. Choose to dine at one of three premium restaurants - The Cove, Drunken
Admiral or Sisco's on the Pier. Two Night Stay: Hobart, Hotel Grand

Day 5 - Salamanca Markets, Tahune
AirWalk Stroll through Salamanca
Place and explore the colourful stalls at the Salamanca Markets. Enjoy time at
leisure. This afternoon travel to the picturesque Huon Valley. Visit the Forest
and Heritage Centre and join a guided walk amongst the tree tops on the
spectacular Tahune AirWalk enjoying unique scenery. Return to Hobart and ascend
Mt. Nelson for fabulous views.(B)
Day 6 - Russell Falls, Lake St Clair, West
Coast Wilderness Railway. Follow the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park, where a
short walk brings us to spectacular Russell Falls. Travel deep into World
Heritage Lake St Clair and then to the smelting township of Queenstown. Here,
enjoy our Freedom of Choice Touring experiences; they don't add a cent to your
tour price. Choose to join the magnificently restored West Coast Wilderness
Railway and ride aboard elegant brass and timber carriages as they travel
through the forest. This
evening, savour a delicious buffet meal, complemented by a liqueur and

Day 7 - Gordon River Cruise, Cradle Mountain - NEW! FREEDOM OF CHOICE
TOURING Join a cruise across Macquarie Harbour to the wilderness of the Gordon
River. Board the Lady Jane Franklin, with guaranteed window seating. Stop at
Heritage Landing for a gentle walk through untouched rainforest. As we travel to
the infamous penal colony of Sarah Island, a local guide will detail its
fascinating history. Journey to World Heritage Cradle Mountain and select the
activity that best suits you, at no extra cost. Sample some of Tasmania's finest
wines and cheeses, take a guided walk to learn of unique alpine flora and fauna,
or look for wildlife on a night spotlighting tour (limited availability).

Day 8 - Cradle Mountain, Dove Lake, Leven Canyon, 'The Nut',
Smithton Journey
with a local guide to tranquil Dove Lake. Visit the Information Centre to
learn more of this wild and exquisite region. Later we visit Waldheim Chalet. Leaving this spectacular
wilderness, arrive at Leven Canyon and enjoy the short walk to the lookout. We
continue to historical Stanley and see the striking rocky outcrop of 'The Nut'.

Day 9 - Woolnorth, NEW!
Cape Grim This
morning we visit the far north west reaches of the Tasmanian
mainland to tour Woolnorth wind farm. Perched high on the
windswept cliffs of a rugged but majestic coastline, Woolnorth
is the state's biggest wind farm. At nearby Cape Grim, breathe
in the cleanest air in the world. Enjoy morning tea before
touring through Dismal Swamp. Tonight enjoy an exclusive dinner of local
Tasmanian fare in Smithton. (BD)
Day 10 - Tiagarra Aboriginal Centre, Sheffield, Ashgrove, Woolmers
Estate Head into Devonport and continue on to Sheffield. Free time allows us to explore this quaint town where
over 30 murals have been painted on many of the buildings' walls. This afternoon
enjoy a tour and tasting at Ashgrove Cheese Factory. Take a fully guided tour of
historic Woolmers Estate and stroll through the colourful National Rose Garden

Day 11 - Historic Ross, Cellar Tour and Farewell Dinner at Rosevears
Estate This morning we travel around the Great Lake and over the Great
Western Tiers to historic Ross. View the famous bridge and explore the quaint heritage township. We continue into
Launceston and visit Cataract Gorge. Tonight enjoy a final evening of special
indulgence. Cruise the
Tamar River and enjoy pretty riverside scenery while savouring a magnificent
