Settled in the 1840’s, still a working sheep property, and situated just three kilometres from the Kangaroo Island Ferry Terminal with beautiful Morgan’s beach nearby, Cape Jervis Station offers the holiday maker a most picturesque and unique setting.

Nestled amongst the age old gardens of European and native trees, the scattered stone buildings blend with the not so old in a village-like setting overlooking the sea to Kangaroo Island. Cape Jervis Station has a wide range of leisure facilities and tastefully appointed accommodation to suit a variety of holiday choices. Overnight to long term bookings are welcome and the reasonable rates reduce with the length of stay. As the abounding bird life is a feature in the garden, pets are not permissible unless by prior arrangement in selected venues.

A warm welcome is assured by your resident hosts. Facilities available may include:

Self Contained

    Pine Cottage

    •  Often referred to as the ‘Honeymoon Cottage’.

Budget Accommodation

    Log Cabin
    •  Self contained cabin nestled under the trees. 
    •  This popular and cheerfully quaint little cabin, was once known as Lisa’s cubby. 
    •  Contains 1 bedroom with 1 double and 2 single beds, bathroom, separate kitchenette.
    •      Tea/Coffee/Fridge/Linen/Barbeque 

    Shearers Quarters
    •  Self contained old 2 room stone building with wood fire and small kitchen.
    •  Both rooms opening onto a verandah  
    •  Short walk across the lawn to the bathroom facilities. 
    •  Can be utilized as backpackers or sole use. 

    Caravan & Camping
    •  Limited powered sites available with ablutions facilities. 

     

Location:
Situated on the Main South Road 108 kilometers from Adelaide. Look for the entrance on the left at the bottom of the “Cape Hill”. 

Near to:
Beaches, the start of the Heysen Trail, Deep Creek and Talisker Conservation Parks, Rapid Bay: the home of HMAS Hobart reef diving. Fishing charters, horse riding, golf and day tours to Kangaroo Island.
