FLINDERS RANGES

A great tour incorporating some of the best features of the north and south Flinders
Ranges.
We travel to the top end of the Flinders Ranges via the townships of
Burra and Yunta, and Frome Downs station.
Five days are experienced in
the rugged wilderness of the Gammon Ranges in the Northern Flinders Ranges,
unique for its geological formations, flora and Wildlife.
Walks each day from the
base camps give time for an in depth look at your surroundings and the
pursuits of your special interests.
The tour now passes through
Parachilna Gorge to the township of Blinman, then on
to Aroona Valley. We camp for
two nights in this "park like"
setting with a full day walk on
a section of the Heysen Trail (a
walking trail extending for over
800km).
By contrast the final day
is in the lush greenery of Mambray
Creek in the Southern Flinders Ranges.

Australia’s 3rd largest island, situated off the coast
of South Australia, has a rural setting with 25% of the land devoted to National Parks and reserves. Many of
the feral animals such as rabbits have not been
introduced to the island, therefore the natural habitat is
in pristine condition.
