Established in 1981, we pride ourselves on the level of service we offer, whatever your special interest may be. It could be native plants, mammals, birds, art, photography, or perhaps you simply wish to escape to the outback. Walks are tailored to the capabilities of participants, and road travel is by all-terrain, air-conditioned twelve passenger bus. Ian Ransom and Robyn Guy, who accompany all of the tours, are experienced bushwalkers in both Australia and overseas. They are keen ornithologists, and together combine the skills of nurse, botanist and mechanic.
Our camps are comfortable, with
appetising meals provided in a friendly
atmosphere. Camp chores, including preparation of
meals, are
performed by your hosts. However
offers of help are always appreciated.
As all tours have many camps of 2 nights or longer, the relaxed pace gives ample time to pursue your special interests, be they botany, ornithology, photography, fossicking, painting or just plain appreciation of the grandeur of the outback. No hidden extra costs. Camping equipment, camp site and park entrance fees are all included in the price. The only thing you have to do is... ... decide which clothes to bring.
