The 2008 Expedition vessel is again the superbly designed and well equipped Moon Dancer. A 12 metre Tasman P4000 Flybridge Power Catamaran, Moon Dancer was built for sea-going comfort, safety and complete stability. The spacious fore-deck and easy access around the main deck makes her a perfect platform for whale and dolphin observations and interactions. The covered flybridge offers an excellent vantage point for observations of the whales. The private cabins in each hull are easily accessed by the walk through transoms with full headroom. The vessel is equipped with many cupboards and storage spaces so there is plenty of room for stowing your gear. You can take advantage of the canvas swags on board to sleep-out on the wide fore-deck, enjoying the night sky and ocean ambience. The spacious lounge/dining area, which opens out onto the stern deck, is where we gather to enjoy home cooked meals from Moon Dancer's Gourmet Galley and to share the days experiences. Fitted throughout with quality carpets, attractive upholstery and fine timbers, Moon Dancer is a truly beautiful ship. The bathroom includes vanity, separate shower with screen and electric toilet. Particular attention has been paid to ventilation with hatches throughout and fans in all cabins.
