The Oceania Project - Whale & Dolphin Expeditions in Hervey Bay

Departure Information:

The 2008 Whale Research Expedition commences on Sunday 3rd August 2008 and operates for twelve weeks to Friday 24th October 2008.
Participation is for 5 nights/ 6 days (Sunday to Friday) each week for one or multiple weeks.
Fieldwork aboard 'Moon Dancer' within Hervey Bay is planned for Sunday to Friday each week. The schedule is:
Depart Urangan Boat Harbour at 8.00am each Sunday morning (Boarding time is 0730).
Return to Urangan Harbour 2.30pm each Friday afternoon

NOTE: Actual operating days within Hervey Bay are subject to weather and operational conditions.

Departure Dates:

The joining dates for 2008 are Sunday:

August 3 (Waitlist), 10, 17, 24, 31.
September 7, 14, 21, 28.
October 5, 12, 19 (Waitlist).

NOTE: (Waitlist) means the trip is fully registered and availability is subject to cancellations.
Boarding time is 0730 Sunday morning.

The Internship Brief must be read thoroughly prior to boarding.
