3 Days & 3 Nights exhilarating maxi sailing

3 FUN filled days and 3 FULL of laughter nights sailing and snorkelling the World Heritage listed Whitsunday Islands. The emphasis is on FUN so we're looking for spankers with a sense of adventure and who like to laugh. Participation is required. Length: 23.9m Designer: Lexcen & Pedrick Year Built: 1989 Experience the best of the Whitsunday Islands and Outer Reef on board our eco accredited Spank Me, a 23.9m Maxi. Built in 1989 by Alan Bond, Spank Me was originally named 'Drumbeat' and won the 1989 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race before relocating overseas to compete for the next decade as 'Congere' and then 'Spank Me BT'. She returned home to Australia in 2004 and now takes 28 guests on 3 day/3 night sailing and diving eco adventures exploring the World Heritage Listed Whitsunday Islands, visiting Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling or diving the Great Barrier Reef. Each passenger receives a free 20 minute dive and for those who want to get involved in the sailing, our experienced crew will need the help of enthusiastic passengers to get on the grinder and pull up the main sail. Come and get involved and explore, or sit back and relax on the spacious deck. Spank Me has something for everyone. Inclusions: Hot showers, linen (except towels), all snorkelling gear and freshly prepared meals. Additional charges: There is an Environmental Management Charge levied per person. Oz Sail highly recommends all passengers hire Lycra suits throughout stinger season (October - May) What to Bring: Light clothing (warm clothing in the cooler months), hat, lots of sunscreen, insect repellant, beach towel, favourite music, alcohol (no glass please) and your camera......all in a small, soft bag. Departs Able Point Marina: 3.00pm Mondays & Fridays Returns: 1.00pm Thursdays & Mondays Cost: Share cabin $479.00 per person * inc. GST Prices valid: 01 Apr 07 to 31 Mar 08 * There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of publishing a total fee of $39 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association to cover these costs. This includes Environment Management Charge of $5.00 per day, Queensland Parks Activity Fee of $1.45 per day, and Administration Fee plus Goods and Services Tax of $6.55 per day.
