Saltwater Pools.
The resort has not one but two saltwater pools. The Garden Pool features two dipping pools connected by a waterfall, a poolside
BBQ and sun lounges. The Beachside Pool is much larger (approx. 16m long) and features a shaded wading area for children, a
deep dive area (4m in depth) plus a poolside terrace overlooking the beach.
Conference Centre.
Located on the pool deck just behind the restaurant, Shingley Beach Resort conference centre represents
over 130 square metres of space, with theatre seating for approx. 150 (banquet style - 120). Two smaller function rooms can also
be created via a folding partition wall (Dolphin Room and Dugong Room). The conference centre is fully air-conditioned and
features direct dial phones, modem/data points, full catering facilities, sound system, white boards, overhead projector and
variable lighting. Ask management about our conference package deals as well as other exciting options (cocktails on the rooftop
garden at sunset, marquee on the beach etc.)
Shingley Beach Resort Rooftop Garden.
For the exclusive use of beach resort patrons, the rooftop garden features spectacular views of Abel Point Marina, the
Whitsunday Islands and Pioneer Bay. The perfect place to enjoy a quiet cocktail at sunset or a dinner BBQ with a difference.
Currently being upgraded, the garden will eventually feature sun lounges, chairs, tables a bar/BBQ area and of course lots of
tropical plants!
The Shingley Beach Resort Anchorage Restaurant & Bar.
This brand new, 120 seat restaurant specialises in fresh, local seafood and provides guests with a range of la carte dishes for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant itself features 180 degree views of Shingley Beach, indoor/outdoor dining via folding
windows/doors on the balcony, poolside bar, a massive skylight and an indoor waterfall.
Prosail Dive.
The resort's very own on-site dive school, providing in house guests with the option of introductory scuba dives or Open Water
courses in the resort's specially designed dive pool. The Dive School also features classrooms and a small retail shop selling
scuba and snorkel gear.
Shingley Beach Resort Reception / Booking Agency.
Located on the lower level of the resort, the reception doubles as a booking agency and can supply guests with comprehensive
information about the hundreds of trips that leave daily (and weekly) for the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef Marine
Park. In addition to well-defined brochure racks, the reception also features memorabilia on the culture and history of the
Whitsunday Region.
Commercial Shops & Esplanade.
Located on either side of the reception, the shops and shaded esplanade walkway are currently being leased out and will add to
the resort's integrated feel. Many of the proposed shops will provide additional services for Shingley Beach Resort guests.
