LOCATION
Bait Reef is located on the Outer Barrier
Reef, 65 kilometres NNE of Airlie Beach in
the Whitsundays, North Queensland.
Approximately 2,000 acres in size, Bait
Reef is a special management area (SMA)
zoned Marine Park “A” by the Great Barrier
Reef Marine Park Authority. Reef walking,
collecting, anchoring and fishing is
prohibited, thus retaining the natural beauty
of this marine wilderness.
Bait Reef includes the world renowned “Stepping Stones” enabling
multiple dive
sites, depending on weather conditions.

* A history of certain medical conditions may preclude some diving & snorkelling
activities.
* From 1.4.98 the Australian Government has levied an Environmental Management
Charge on a per head basis to all visitors to The Great Barrier Reef to assist
the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority in managing, protecting and sustaining
this World Heritage listed marine environment.
* In the interests of safety the Company reserves the right to alter or change
all destinations and itineraries at any time due to adverse weather conditions
or situations outside of the Company’s control.
* We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the tour
cost if cancelled within 24 hrs at departure.
