The Alexander Stewart was hand built over 17 years by three generations of the one family and is said to be the largest cold-moulded timber hull in the Southern hemisphere. A magnificent vessel styled after the famous ship in which Joshua Slocum achieved the first solo circumnavigation of the globe in 1898. Timbers such as Noumean Kauri, Ribbon Maple, Red Cedar, Silky Oak, Tasmanian Blackwood and Oregon give a rich old world feel to the large roomy interiors.

A cruise length of 3 days and 2 nights gives our crew of 3 plenty of time to share with you their knowledge of the region and take you to the best places that the Whitsundays have to offer in traditional style and comfort.

We will show you the highlights of the World Heritage listed Whitsunday Islands located in the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia. A charge is payable by all visitors to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This fee is payable on check in at reception and is in addition to the prices quoted above. Stinger-suit or wet-suit hire is highly recommended.
