Let us take you on a cruise of discovery cruising the Waterways of Cooloola National Park. Cruise through the wetlands of the Cooloola National Park on a 1/2 day or 3/4 day cruise, or a full day combined Everglades cruise and 4WD Coloured Sands tour.
Travel slowly through the Everglades with excellent viewing from the boat for photographs, so don’t forget your camera (films available on the boats). One of the major features of the 55,000 hectare Cooloola National Park is the Noosa River, with its associated tributaries, lakes and adjoining wet heathlands. We take you to this beautiful coastal wilderness with magnificent reflections mirrored in the dark tranquil waters of the upper Noosa River, in an area known as the Everglades - 40 kilometres from Noosa.
Our National Park permit allows us to stop in the Cooloola National Park at the Kinaba Information Centre. Built in 1978, this building offers an informative introduction to the fascinating, peaceful wetland environment. View the interesting displays, talk to the Rangers, or buy a souvenir. Don’t miss the boardwalk built through the mangrove wetlands to protect this fragile area. You will enjoy the walk through the paperbarks and cabbage palms. Figtree Point is a picnic area used by us as a stop for morning tea on our BBQ cruise or combined tour. Cruises depart Noosa Harbour Marine Village, cnr Parkyn Lane and Hilton Terrace, Tewantin.
