Day 1
Arrive late afternoon after travelling through the beautiful landscaped rural town of Biloela.
On arrival at Kroombit Park you will be welcomed by family and staff before settling into your ensuite cabin.
This evening bask in true Aussie hospitality as you savour the renowned Kroombit Camp Oven cooking served on a unique table, carved from the trunk of a Blue Gum Tree.
Day 2
After breakfast, climb aboard the 4WD vehicle for a full day escorted outback tour of the Kroombit Tops National Park, by our experienced guides. Discover the beauty of the forest, hoop pine, ferns and King Orchids. Enjoy the stillness of the bush, lush rainforest and spectacular views.
The piece de resistance is the Kroombit Gorge. Because of the rugged terrain of this remote area, a World War II B24D Liberator Bomber, that went missing in 1945 , was only found in 1994 ... nearly 50 years after it disappeared. On your return to the Park, enjoy a swim and relax before dinner.
Day 3
Today we explore the area, visit a farm to learn about the farming practices of Central Queensland such as grain growing and beef cattle.
You will learn about breeding beef cattle in Australia, and visit an aquaculture farm where you learn about farming the Australian Red Claw. You will learn about agriculture farming "Queensland style", and see the crops that are in season.
We visit the town of Biloela and Primary Industries Exhibition "Biloela Silo" learning about the history of the area from the large collection of memorabilia in Pioneer Place and be entertained by the interactive displays while learning about the rich mining, agriculture and aquaculture in the area.
Before sharing your last dinner with Kroombit hosts you will be treated to spectacular views on a wine and cheese Sunset Tour

Day 1
Arrive at Kroombit Park late in the afternoon in time to settle into your ensuite cabins before enjoying the renowned Kroombit campoven roast served in the relaxed casual atmosphere of this unique outdoor setting
Day 2
After a hearty cooked breakfast we saddle up for a days trail ride through Brahman cattle pastures comprising of open ironbark and mountainous country before arriving at Blue Rock yards early afternoon.
Tonight you will enjoy a traditional stockman's meal cooked on the coals followed by the bushman billy tea and damper.
Day 3
Today you will re live history, as you partake in the mustering on Kroombit Country, following in the hoofprints of the Kroombit Boys. Reminiscence of yesteryear as you bring in the herd. Then we follow the trail home to Kroombit and relax with a glass of wine over dinner.
Day 4
Following breakfast you will spend a day with our guides travelling by 4wd to the remote outback area of the Kroombit Tops. Learn about the history as you travel through cattle stations, old gold mines and forestry before reaching the ever changing spectacular landscapes of this natural area.
This eco accredited tour takes in the breathtaking scenery from the Kroombit Tops escarpment.
After a short hike through natural bushland you will be amazed to find Kroombit Falls and the magnificent view down the Kroombit Gorge. Take in the stillness of the lush rainforest area and it's hoop pine and palm trees.
The rugged terrain of the Kroombit tops held the secret of the fate of the World War II B24D Liberator Bomber for nearly 50 years before it was discovered in 1994. The lives of all airmen onboard were taken one rainy night in 1945 as their bomber crashed into the cliff face.
After an adventure filled day, you return to Kroombit park where tonight you will share your last dinner with Kroombit hosts and savour the taste of fine Australian wine.
Day 5
After breakfast you say farewell to the Kroombit Experience and continue your journey.

Experience life on a real live working cattle station with the Sandilands family whose links with the land can be traced back to early settlement.
Learn about Meat Goat farming (Boer Goats) and the Maremma dogs that protect them from predators.
Horsetrail through the cattle station with an overnight campout under the stars and the next day a short horsetrail back to Kroombit.
Magnificent views of the countryside will be experienced as you trail through the cattle station.
For two days and one night you experience all this plus the Kroombit renowned traditional country style camp-oven meals and their unique style bush cabin accommodation.
