In the Keppel Group of
islands, Great Keppel Island
is 55 kilometres from
Rockhampton Airport and 15
kilometres east of Rosslyn Bay
on the Capricorn Coast of
Queensland.
TRANSPORTATION -
GETTING THERE
Air
Great Keppel Island Resort is accessed via regular flights from
major capital cities to Rockhampton Airport, followed by a 15
minute air transfer to the island. Express coaches and train to
Rockhampton.
Road
About 7½ hours drive
time from Brisbane - or a lot less
if you live closer - pull in to
Rosslyn Bay Marina, park your
car in the Great Keppel security
car park (Phone: 07-4933 6670),
board the boat and your island
holiday begins!
Rail
The Tilt Train and Spirit of
Capricorn stop at Rockhampton.
You may need to organise an over-night stay here before connecting
with transfers to the island.
Boat Services operate daily
from Rosslyn Bay Marina,
situated near Yeppoon and only
a 40-minute drive from

Transfers to Great Keppel
Island
Daily launch transfers operate from Rosslyn
Bay, Capricorn Coast. Security parking available at Rosslyn Bay
and Rockhampton Airport. The ride to the
island is very scenic and takes
about 30 minutes.
