The 6 km of secluded, golden sandy beach in front of the resort is fabulous for an early morning or late afternoon stroll, swimming,
fishing or simply lazing in the sun.
If you are energetic, half court tennis and volleyball or on the run on the beach will be for you. Or try either of the two pools, spa
(heated in winter), the recreation room with table tennis pool or video games or a book from our library.
For the little kids there is a section in our library with books and games, outside there are swings and lots of lawn to play on and
very little traffic to worry about.
Garden Lounge - The Spangled Drongos garden lounge/bar overlooks the pool and offers you a popular spot for a
cappuccino or a quiet drink and a snack to while away the hours.
Resort Shop and Tour Desk - To help plan your days, the desk at reception operates an information/tour desk. There
are plenty of things to do and see in the Mackay region.
Melaleucas Restaurant - If you are looking for an enjoyable and friendly service in a relaxing, laid back atmosphere,
then this is the place for you. Indulge in fine wines and champagne, mouthwatering cuisine all at affordable prices. Try al fresco
dining in the garden lounge or in the comfort of the air-conditioned restaurant.
Adjoining Melaleucas Restaurant is our purpose built function - conference centre. It is fully air-conditioned and will cater from
7 to 70 people depending on the function type.
