South Stradbroke is one of Australia’s rare and unique sand islands, it is totally natural and undeveloped with a surprisingly array of flora and fauna (some of which, like the Golden Wallaby are found only on this island).

 With over 20kms of one of the most beautiful surf beaches in Australia on the easterly side of the island and the same distance on the western calm, Broadwater side, South Stradbroke offers the best of both worlds and it is one of the few places on the east coast where you can see a sunrise and sunset over water.
