3 DAY CAMPING SAFARI

This safari will include two nights twin/double share accommodation in luxury permanent tents featuring king beds and polished timber floors. quality meals with wine and Australian beer. You'll relish three magnificent days exploring fraser Island's gems. Enjoy swimming, hiking, relaxing and fishing whilst savouring the island's unique flora and fauna.

Departing from the Urangan Boat Harbour every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, Fraser Island Exclusive Camping Adventures allow you to enjoy Fraser Island's wilderness in a unique atmosphere. Sit back and relax as you travel through challenging inland tracks and along famous 75 mile beach.

A maximum of 16 passengers ensures personalised attention, whilst your modern bus equipped with satellite phones ensures comfort and safety.

 

Day 1:-
Transfers from Hervey Bay accommodation.
Travel from the Urangan Boat Harbour to Fraser Island, crossing the beautiful Great Sandy Straits by ferry.
Explore the interior of Fraser Island as you travel to Lake Allom.
Picnic lunch at Lake Allom. Stroll around the lake and admire the resident turtles.
Visit spectacular Knifeblade Sand blow.
Travel along 75 Mile Beach, visiting Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek and the Coloured Sands.
Gourmet BBQ dinner and overnight accommodation at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.



Day 2:-
Breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.
Explore the beautiful and peaceful northern regions of Fraser Island.
Visit Indian Head, Champagne Pools and Orchid Beach, admire the Island' abundant Wildlife, flora and fauna.
Ample time to walk, photograph and swim.
Picnic lunch.
Return to Frasers at Cathedral Beach by mid afternoon with time to relax, fish, hike or read.
Sumptuous evening meal and overnight accommodation at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.



Day 3:-
Cooked breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.
Travel south along 75 Mile Beach to Lake Wabby. Enjoy a morning of swimming, walking and relaxing at this unique barrage freshwater lake.
Drive to Happy Valley and dine on homemade gourmet pizzas at Fraser Island Backpackers.
Travel through the heart of Fraser Island and stroll through magnificent Yidney Scrub Rainforest.
Visit peaceful Boomerang Lakes for swimming, walking and birdwatching.
Return to Moon Point and board the ferry for your return to Hervey Bay.
