We white water raft some of the best rivers in the world year round, sea kayak over the Great Barrier Reef and fly the largest hot air balloon in the world, to mention but a few of the activities that await you.

Day Tours

If you are short on time, our day tours include a selection of fun-filled activities such as White Water Rafting, Sea Kayaking and Ballooning or have all the fun you can have in a day on our 'Balloon, Island & Outer Reef' day tour. More comprehensive packages are available for the thrillseekers.

Raging Thunder's REEF RAFTING vessel was specifically designed for the ocean conditions between Fitzroy Island and the Outer Edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Thunderbolt 1 is one of a kind travelling at 80 kilometres an hour; it will take just 22 minutes to reach our sites at Thetford, Flynn or Moore Reefs on the Outer Edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Getting there will be half the fun, and seasickness will be a thing of the past.

The Directors of Raging Thunder Adventures have placed great emphasis on safety and training. We have pioneered many of the Swiftwater Rescue procedures and techniques used around the world. Our guides are trained to this high standard which includes Wilderness Medivac training, by our wholly owned subsidiary, Rescue 3 Australia; a franchise of the world renowned Rescue 3 International.
