 Tropical Rage was designed for those wanting to be free to make their own accommodation decision. This combination offers highlights not to be missed on a visit to Cairns - Rainforest, White Water Rafting, The Great Barrier Reef and a Balloon Flight to remember. These three days are jam packed with activities.
Day 1 - After collection from your accommodation you will be taken to experience White Water Rafting on the Mighty Tully River. Shoot the rapids and take in the backdrop of this amazing day out - World Heritage Listed Rainforest. You couldn't get a more picture perfect setting. Negotiate the grade 3-4 rapids, with over 5 hours of White Water action before returning to Cairns.
Day 2 - Rise early to participate in a 30 minute balloon flight
high above the Cairns Highlands at dawn. As the pilot lifts off, experience this safe but exhilarating sport and see the expansive farmland from a new perspective. After enjoying
a full breakfast with champagne you will explore Kuranda Village before returning to Cairns aboard Skyrail - The famous rainforest cableway. Glide above the rainforest for a bird's eye view of this truly spectacular natural wonder.
Day 3 - Today visit one of North Queensland's famous icons
- The Great Barrier Reef.
Travelling by fast catamaran you
will get to spend the morning exploring Fitzroy Island
- 339 hectares of National Park right on the reef. Snorkel
from the beach, hike the trails or soak up the sun. From
here Thunderbolt 1 will meet you after lunch and take you
to the outer reef for an experience to remember. Visit two outer reef sites with all snorkel gear and instruction included. Hang on tight, with speeds reaching up to 80km/hr Thunderbolt 1 is sure to get anyone's heart racing - after all it is the fastest boat to the outer reef!
