natural wonders: The Great Barrier Reef and its World Heritage listed Fitzroy Reef Lagoon or Pancake Creek, home to some
of Australia's best estuarine coral, surrounded by the rainforest of Eurimbula National Park.
Immerse yourself in awesome beauty as you snorkel or dive over coral reef teeming with a kaleidoscope of marine life, or
simply enjoy an armchair view from the glass-bottom boat.
Become totally absorbed by the natural splendor observing turtles, dolphins, whales and a myriad of fish species in their

Pancake Reef.
Situated only 12 nautical miles (30 minutes) up the coast from the Town of 1770. Full day cruise when sea conditions prevent
outer Fitzroy Reef travel. Departs 1770 Marina 9am, returns 5pm (approx).
Explore our informative and fully supervised snorkel trail. Glass-bottom boat viewing. Discover both reef and estuarine
eco-systems with our marine biologist. Picnic lunch on the beach with rainforest backdrop.
Fishing - Estuary and reef.
Surfing - A reeling right hand sandsplit.

Fitzroy Reef Lagoon.
Situated just over 30 nautical miles (80 minutes) from the Town of 1770. Full day cruise departs 1770 Marina 8.15am, returns
5pm (approx).
Explore our informative and fully supervised snorkel trail. Discover the maze of coral reefs within the unspoilt lagoon with our
marine biologist on board the "Investigator", and view the marine life from the glass-bottom boat. Morning tea and lunch.
Fishing - Take home fresh, boneless reef fish fillets for dinner.
Scuba Diving - 30 minutes of underwater ecstasy. For certified divers only.
Surfing - Outer reef juice. For experienced surfers only.

An additional $5.00 per person Environmental Management Charge (EMC), including GST and administration is payable on check in.

We also operate two Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo (LARC) vessels. They are the perfect way to explore the delights of
1770 and historic Bustard Head Lighthouse. Experience the magnificent beauty that greeted Captain James Cook when he
stepped ashore here more than 200 years ago.
