The beautiful Lady Musgrave Island and lagoon right on the Great Barrier Reef is the Eco Adventure destination of the South Pacific for Scuba divers and Snorkellers! And with access to a Live-aboard Dive Cruise, just 1 hour by air, or 4 hours by road from Brisbane, it is the easiest way for you to experience the wonders of the World Heritage listed, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

With its coral cays, reefs, islands, marine life such as manta rays. Dive Musgrave takes you to the unique dive sites of Fairfax Island or Hoskyn Island & Lady Musgrave Island which are part of the Bunker group of islands and coral cays. Lady Musgrave is surrounded by 1192 hectares of spectacular reef. It has the largest navigable lagoon on the entire Great Barrier Reef.

With only limited visitations, its magnificent colourful corals and reefs formations remain pristine. Coupled with the exceptional water clarity, it offers abundant fish life (including Manta Rays), Turtles, Dolphins and seasonal visits from majestic Humpback Whales (July to October). With temperate waters (22 degrees in winter) and calm anchorages in the shelter of the Islands and Reefs, it is one of the great dive destinations in the world .

Lady Musgrave Island Dive Tours have operated its Live aboard Dive Ship, the MV Venus II, in these waters since December 2004, bringing together an experienced and dedicated team of people from the Marine, Diving and Tourisim industries. The Crew including PADI Instructor/Dive Supervisor take great pride in providing a personal level of service to ensure you enjoy a truly memorable experience, all from the comfort, luxury and safety of a well appointed dive ship.

The MV Venus ll is a superb ocean-going vessel. At 20 metres, Venus ll boasts spacious ensuited guest cabins, especially suited for families and large comfortable living areas.

Dive Cruises depart Bundaberg Port Marina Tuesday & Friday nights.

Bundaberg is just 370klms north of Brisbane (4 hrs by car or rail, 1 hour by air)

Liveaboard Cruise

Lady Musgrave Island Dive Tours offer outstanding quality diving and great value for money, combining a dedicated crew with many years of experience, cruising the dive sites within this section of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. From the comfort and safety of MV Venus II, each cruise offers:

Personalised service with a maximum of 13 passengers
4 separate passenger cabins in different configurations
Full ensuite facilities in each cabin
All meals and Drinks inclusive (does not include alcohol)
Calm anchorages in the shelter of the reefs and islands

Dive Musgrave cruises are available to certified divers and snorkellers only. A full range of the latest diving equipment is available for hire, including dive computers - Dive Musgrave will take care of any worries...... all you have to do is dive, relax and have fun!

Rates
3 day/ 3 night cruise- $678.00* per person

Includes:
Cabin accommodation, all meals and drinks (excluding alcohol) and dive tanks and weights

If required, we can also provide:

Dive equipment rental - $65.00* per person (includes dive computer)
Secure parking for your vehicle- $15.00* ($5.00 per night)

Groups
We specialise in catering to the specific needs of dive groups and dive clubs. Group numbers are restricted to a maximum of 13 divers and can be accompanied by a Dive Master/Group Leader who travels free of charge.

Things you need to bring on your Cruise:

Hat and Sunglasses
Footwear suitable for wet areas (eg. decks or island walks)
Seasickness medication (if you aren't sure- bring some to be safe)
Your own alcoholic drinks if you desire, to be enjoyed after the days diving

Special Charters

If you have a special cruise in mind or would like to do an extended cruise, Dive Musgrave can tailor a cruise to meet your needs exactly. Celebrate special events (eg. birthdays, anniversaries) or combine diving with other activities available on the reef, such as Reef and Island Exploration, Eco-tours and Birdwatching to name a few.

Special Charters can also be arranged for groups wishing to undertake a PADI Discover Scuba course or to complete a PADI Advanced Open Water course.
