The Rescue Diver Course is the 3rd stage of your development to becoming a complete Open Water Diver.

The Rescue Diver Course is run over 3 days and will make you aware of the other person and prepare you to act in a situation. The rescue diver course will show you how to watch for situations arising and to deal with them before they become a major concern. It will prepare you to become a rescue scene manager or a skilled assistant to a dive master or instructor in a rescue situation. First Aid is a requirement of this course and can be taught in conjunction with the rescue diver course.

For your comfort and enjoyment we schedule your rescue diver course to run over a three day period plus one day for the first aid course.

However should you be short on time then please give us a call and we can complete the course in a shorter time but you will have to be comfortable with the work load you would impose on yourself.

Your itinerary for the rescue diver course is as follows;

Day One - knowledge development.
Day Two - EFR first aid course unless you have already completed a first aid course.
Day Three - The first part of the rescue diver skills practice.
Day Four - The second part of the rescue diver skills.

It is a requirement of P.A.D.I. standards that students have their own manual and keep it after the course; the cost of the manual is $60

The rescue diver course is a pre requisite for the Dive Master course and the Master Scuba Diver ratings, courses that may be undertaken at Bundaberg Dive Academy.
