PADI OPEN WATER COURSE

Our Learn to dive courses start every Monday and Thursday mornings at 8am. Padi Open Water courses run over a period of four days. This will take you from beginner to Open Water Diver. You are required to have your own copy of the PADI open water manual ($60) and a current dive medical ($55) which can be arranged on the first day of your course. This certification will allow you to hire dive equipment, and give you the freedom to dive anywhere in the world. be completed before you can take your adventure diver or advanced
certification. Modern classrooms with the latest training material make learning to dive easy and you will soon be taking you first breaths under water with your experienced PADI instructor who will soon put you at ease. Your PADI instructor has gone through one of the most rigorous instructor training programs and a 2-day exam. You will gain much experience from him as you progress through your course. Bundaberg is the southernmost gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and has the best shore diving in Queensland. Here wonderful fringing reefs of hard and soft coral is right on the shore, Combine this with the ship wrecks and aeroplanes of the Cochrane Artificial Reef and Bundaberg is truly a divers paradise. Choosing the 4-day learn to dive on the fringing reef of the Wongarra marine park will give you a worldwide-recognized, PADI open Water diver certification. Course Cost and Required
Materials You will be diving in the training pool on day two of your course, where you will be required to swim 200 metres and tread water or float for 10 minutes, so please bring with you your swimming costume and a towel.
