The PADI Dive Master Course is the first rating of a professional level within the PADI system of diver education. The course can be completed in just 7 days but it is more beneficial to you if you could spend 3 to 4 weeks as nothing can substitute experience. The Dive Master Course will teach you an instructor level of dive theory knowledge, it will prepare you to teach certain PADI programs and courses. We will develop your ability to demonstrate to instructor level all the basic diver skills within the PADI system of diver education. By the end of your course you will be fully prepared to act as an instructor's assistant in a teaching environment, independently supervise certified divers and look after divers under instruction in both continuing education and open water courses. Dive Master is also the pre requsite for the PADI open water scuba instructor program or you may be interested in becoming an EFR first aid instructor making you more valuable to future employers as a dive master. For your comfort and enjoyment we schedule your Dive Master course to run over a three to Six week period although the time frame does depend on the amount of diving that you have done.
