SPORTS EQUIPMENT
AND FACILITIES
Free use of land sports and equipment
(tennis, squash, archery and putting green) is included. The Resort
Sports Centre offers hire of dinghies, catamarans, surf skis,
windsurfers and snorkel gear. The Dive Shop conducts and teaches
Scuba diving, water skiing, Big Banana rides and also hires out
fishing gear dinghies, skis, etc.
DINING Facilities available include, an A La
Carte Restaurant, Coffee Shop and Bistro, all of which operate 7
days.
ENTERTAINMENT Our activities team organise
beach games and sporting events catering for the whole family. The
nights are also fun with various forms of entertainment. Why not try
your luck at horse racing or join in the karaoke
INFANTS and
CHILDREN Day or night child minding can be arranged
privately using Resort off duty staff. Availability, costs and
bookings are arranged through Reception. A Kids Club for 4 to 12
year aIds operates for limited periods daily with many varied
activities throughout the week
HIKING There are many walking tracks adjacent to
Tangalooma, through the National Park and along the beaches. A
general walking map can be obtained from Reception or a Sunmap
purchased from the Shop.
RESORT
SHOP The shop features a wide range of holiday clothing
wear, souvenirs, grocery lines, fresh and frozen foods, chemist
items, ice creams and sweets.
RESORT
BAR The Resort Bar opens daily at 10.30 a.m. and closes
late dependant on guest requirements. All Resort property and the
Tangalooma launch are licensed premises and B.Y.O. is not
permitted.
CHARGE
ACCOUNTS You do not have to carry cash on the Resort,
all expenditure can be charged to your room account on presentation
of your guest services card supplied to you on check
in.
LAUNDRY
FACILITIES The Resort has five guest laundries with
washing machines, dryers, ironing boards and irons.
GENERAL
INFORMATION Tangalooma is an informal holiday resort
and casual dress is the desired standard. We do request smart casual
dress around bars and dining areas after 5.00 p.m. to maintain a
pleasant, congenial atmosphere.
