2 day tour of Fraser Island  departing Brisbane and the Gold Coast Includes: Touring and transfers by coach and 4WD, twin share overnight accommodation at Eurong Resort, 1 x Continental breakfast, 2 x Picnic lunches and 1x Dinner. Experienced Guides. This fully guided tour is an ideal way to enjoy magnificent Fraser Island. Travel with experienced and knowledgeable guides and wind your way through the sand tracks which criss cross the island. Day 1 - Travelling north from Brisbane we pass the Glass House Mountains and Sunshine Coast before arriving at Rainbow Beach. From Rainbow Beach we take the 4WD on to the beach to meet our ferry at Inskip Point, where a short Ferry ride will take us to the southern tip of Fraser Island. We head for Seventy Five Mile Beach and fine ourselves a nice spot to enjoy a fresh picnic lunch. Traveling north up the eastern beach of Fraser Island we head for Eli Creek. Eli Creek is a fast flowing fresh water stream. Take the beautiful board walk to the top of the creek and let yourself relax and float down this picturesque stream.   Our next stop is Lake Wabby. We park our 4WD at the start of the 20 min walking track which takes us through lucsh coastal heath and thick eucalypt forest. This takes us to the deepest lake on Fraser Island, the famous Lake Wabby. The return walk goes through the Hammerstone Sandblow. A the end of the day we travel to Eurong Beach Resort to check into our accommodation and enjoy a Buffet Dinner in the Resort Restaurant. Day 2 - With an early start for continental breakfast at 7.00am, we check out and get out on tour by 8.00am. We head to Central Station to visit Fraser Islands lush subtropical rainforest. We take a fantastic 1 hour walk along the clear flowing waters of Wanggoolba Creek and learn about Fraser Islands Timber History. Next we are off to Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen (tide dependant), Fraser Island's beautiful crystal clear lakes. We have plenty of time here to swim, relax, sunbathe and enjoy a picnic style lunch. After lunch we head through the forest roads back to the Southern end of Fraser Island. Mid afternoon we depart Rainbow beach back to Brisbane, with the tour finishing around 6.00pm. Fraser Island is much more than just the highlights. It possesses a spirituality which it gladly shares with its visitors, one that leaves an indelible impression. Itinerary may vary due to tides and weather conditions.
