Wilderness 4WD Adventures, 4wd tours of the Kimberleys

Kakadu Experience

Tour Code: 4KA

Departs Darwin: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday;
May - October 2007

Pick-up from your accommodation starts at 6:30am.

Maximum 9 passengers.

The 4 Day experience is designed for people who wish to have a less rushed tour of Kakadu and offers more extensive hikes into remote locations.

It visits all of the destinations offered on the 3 Day Kakadu Adventure plus allows time to visit "Graveside Gorge", one of our special permit areas. Graveside Gorge is one of Kakadu's most secret spots, so if you don't already know about it you will not find it.

Wilderness 4WD Adventures is one of only two companies in Australia permitted to access this remote destination so we can guarantee there will be no crowds.

Graveside Gorge
A full day expedition into this beautiful area will be the highlight of your Kakadu tour. Drive on challenging 4WD tracks, hike amongst rugged and dramatic landforms (8km),
swim in crystal clear waterfalls and experience unspoilt nature.

NB. At various times during the year, Graveside Gorge will be closed to visitors and only open for use by the Traditional Owners of the area. During these short closures, other destinations will be substituted.
