Day 1- Katherine: Depart
Darwin at 8:00am(approximately) ona Greyhound coach, arriving in Katherine at 12:15pm. Transfer
to Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, where you will have time to visit the Nitmiluk
Centre before boarding your afternoon 2 hour cruise. A walk of approximately 800
metres each way, so wear comfortable walking shoes. *Note lunch is included
on Day 1.
DAY 2- Kakadu National Park:
Depart Katherine at 7am for an exciting 2 days in Kakadu. We
approach via the Southern end through Mary River. Next is Waterfall
Creek (Gunlom), a deep permanent pool fringed by Pandanus
palms and high cliffs. We then go to Cooinda, home of Yellow
Water Cruises. Enjoy the variety of birds, wildlife and crocodiles
on a sunset cruise.
DAY 3- Kakadu National Park
Depart at 6:30am for Nourlangie Rock, just magic at this time of
the morning. Today will create long lasting memories of Kakadu
for you, including Ubirr, Bowali Visitor Centre, Border Store, East
Alligator and so much more..... Arrive Darwin approx. 5:00pm.
