The scenic 45 minute aerial journey from Darwin Airport Is an adventure in
itself... flying over the rugged Von Diemen Gulf and the spectacular ‘top
end’ coastline, Cobourg Peninsula is the Northern most tip of the Northern
Territory all of which is preserved as the Gurig National Park and Cobourg
Marine Park.
On landing at the
remote Midjari airstrip, a 30 minute drive brings you to Seven
Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge overlooking Coral Bay.
Climate is tropical.
during the day temperatures can vary between 29-33 ºC (84ºF - 91ºF) and at
night 20-26 ºC (68 ºF - 79 ºF) at any time of the year.
You’re able to
stay in touch with civilisation via our satellite phones (no cellular network),
but forget TV or radio.., there isn’t any!
