Sacred Earth Safari’s conduct Kakadu tours and Kimberley safaris and are owned and operated by locals, David and Danielle. Sacred Earth Safaris is licenced and accredited under the NT transport act, Parks NT and Parks WA. While Danielle works behind the scenes, David is one of your tour leaders.

David is one of the most experienced guides in Northern Australia, being a Territorian with over 20 years of guiding experience. He was one of the first to lead Kakadu tours, had 4 years guiding in Central Australia and has been taking Kimberley safaris to the region for over 12 years

Many years of guiding on Kimberley tours has allowed David to form a special relationship with the remote community of Kalumburu, who allow us to stay on their land, have a local Aboriginal guide show us around and conduct Aboriginal guided tours.

David has an extensive knowledge of Aboriginal rock art and culture, bush tucker, flora, fauna, natural history and geology, and has assisted in the making of several documentary programs, including “The World Around Us” on such networks as CNN and the BBC.

Sacred Earth Safari's conduct Scheduled Kakadu tours and Kimberley safaris to cater for all interests and visit all the best places through these regions, in comfort, in a luxury 4WD. The Kimberley camping safaris and Kakadu camping safaris are comfortable and accommodated tour options can be organised, on request.

Each Kakadu or Kimberley Private charter itinerary is planned carefully, to suit your preferences- whatever they may be. These safaris can be camping or accommodated and can cater for 1 to 6 people, which is ideal for families.

2007 Tours at a glance:

• All safaris are a maximum of 6 people
  (On charters a maximum of 7 applies if there are children).
• A minimum of 2 people is required for each safari to run.
• Single supplements only apply to the accommodated nights - there is no extra charge for clients to have their own tent.
• Tours include all accommodation, meals, permits, entry fees etc. and all camping equipment is provided.
• There are no block out dates and no surcharge dates but all safaris are subject to availability.
• For groups, Sacred Earth Safaris offer an FOC for the tour escort/translator with a minimum of 10 paying passengers over 2 vehicles.
• All activities are included except Kakadu scenic flights and Bungle Bungles Scenic flights, which is stated on each itinerary. Sacred Earth Safaris can pre-book these for clients if required.
• Child rate applies to children under 12.
