Meals include freshly prepared salads, vegetables, fish (barramundi is a favourite) and meat as well as fruit, which is always available. The meals are cooked using the traditional styles of open fire and camp oven. Vegetarians and other dietary requirements are catered for, as long as you let us know when you book. Meals A typical day on tour starts with fresh juices, a selection of teas and coffee (instant or filter - we have individual filter coffee cups), cereals, fruit, toast (a selection of bread is available) and a large variety of jams and spreads. We also have pancakes or bacon and eggs some mornings. Lunches are picnic style with a wide selection of salad items, cold meats, cheeses, tuna and bread, rolls or mountain bread. Pre-dinner nibbles are served while dinner is being prepared and these include camembert cheese, olives, dips and chips and a selection of crackers. A typical dinner consists of fresh salads and vegetables, t-bone steaks, fresh barramundi, fillet steak, chicken casserole, stir fries, taco’s, spaghetti or a camp oven roast. All our food is of premium quality and where possible, from local suppliers. We carry fruit in the vehicle and have a selection of other snacks available during the day. What do I need to bring? For all tours you will need to bring your personal items, swimwear, towel, toiletries, camera (with plenty of film and spare batteries), medication, sunglasses, wide brimmed hat, sunscreen, walking boots / sandals.
