Itinerary:
Day 1
Departing Darwin with an early start we head towards Adelaide River where we will visit the historical war cemetery. Next we head to the former gold mining region of Pine Creek where we will experience the times of yesteryear before moving onwards, crossing the Edith River to Katherine where we will stop for our lunch in the shady trees of Nitmiluk National Park. We will then visit the amazing Katherine Gorge with a boat cruise at 1pm. We pass the Tindal Airforce Base to arrive at our overnight destination of Mataranka with plenty of time to enjoy an afternoon swim in the warm waters of the hot springs whech are surrounded by palms and other tropical vegetation.

Day 2
After breakfast we travel through the Elsey National Park progressing towards the Roper River, renowned for its abundant Barramundi fishing, we will then lunch at Roper Village outpost. Our adventure through to the Gulf continues this afternoon as we visit Nathan River and experience the contrasting landscapes of the Northern Territory traveling through isolated tracks to our overnight stay at Boroloola

Day 3
This morning we travel on through the Garawa Aboriginal Land Trust towards Mastertons Cave (Redbank Mine) which ceased operating in 1996 due to falling Copper prices. We will then continue our journey to the Hells Gate Roadhouse for our lunch stop where we will have the opportunity to view wild buffalo.the afternoon will be spent observing the vegetation changes and marvelling at the tenacity of the miners who travelled this route through rough bush tracks as we travel onwards to our overnight destination

Day 4
After another hearty breakfast we continue our journey towards Lawn Hill National Park in the pleasant surrounds of this garden like setting. This afternoon we can enjoy the many wonders of Lawn Hill Gorge as we relax in canoes while we slowly drift along the waters into Lawn Hill National Park.

Day 5
This morning we continue to enjoy the inland oasis of Lawn Hill National Park with its many wonders and hidden beauty. Leaving Lawn Hill we travel onwards passing through large catle stations of the Gulf Country towards Gregory Downs. Our lunch stop will be the Burke and Wills Roadhouse before continuing on towards our overnight destination of Normanton.

Day 6
Today we make a short detour to the fishing town of Karumba known for its prolific sea life. We then progress to Croydon, a town known for the Gulflander Rail Motor which runs from Normanton and onwards on Gregory Downs.We will stop for our lunch break in Gregory Downs. This afternoon we will arrivve at the Undara Lava Tubes where we will enjoy a guided tour.

Day 7
After a good evenings rest we will visit the Innot Hot Springs and Ravenshoe and then onwards to Millaa Millaa Falls where we will break for lunch. We will continue the final leg of our memorable journey to Atherton, Yungaburra, and the Curtin Fig. Before we arrive in Cairns, our final destination, we will visit Lake Eacham and the beautiful Lake Barrine to conclude our memorable journey from the Top End to Tropical North Queensland.
