Day 1: Home Port – Darwin
Arrive Darwin, collect your Hertz vehicle from the airport (Airport Concession Recovery Fee applies) or city office. Overnight: Mirambeena Resort (motel)

Day 2: Darwin
Spend the day exploring Darwin. Visit East Point Military Museum, Fannie Bay Gaol, Cullen Bay, Aquascene and Darwin Wharf Precinct. Overnight: Mirambeena Resort (motel)

Day 3: Darwin – Litchfield – Lake Bennett (100 kms, 1 hr)
Drive south to Litchfield National Park. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Park, including Buleys Rock Hole, Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls and Wangi Falls. Continue to Lake Bennett.
Overnight: Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort, Lake Bennett

Day 4: Lake Bennett – Katherine (240 kms, 2½ hrs)
Relax and enjoy the surroundings and facilities at Lake Bennett then continue to Pine Creek and Katherine. Overnight: Mercure Inn Katherine

Day 5: Katherine
Take a 2 hour gorge cruise through Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge (own expense). Drive to Mataranka, swim in the magical thermal pool and visit the Elsey Homestead replica. Overnight: Mercure Inn Katherine

Day 6: Katherine – Kakadu (295 kms, 3 hrs)
Travel back towards Pine Creek and take the Kakadu Highway into Kakadu National Park. Continue to Cooinda for the famous Yellow Waters Cruise (own expense). On to Nourlangie Rock and the Bowali Visitors Centre. Overnight: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn

Day 7: Kakadu – Darwin (251 kms, 2½ hrs)
See the sunrise at Ubirr or take a scenic flight from Jabiru (own expense). Head to Adelaide River and the famous Jumping Crocodile cruise (own expense). Continue to Darwin.
Overnight: Mirambeena Resort (standard room)

Day 8: Darwin – Home Port
Time for last minute sightseeing and shopping before returning your vehicle to the Hertz city office or airport.
