1 -
Alice
Springs to Kings Canyon & Uluru Pre-tour
overnight dorm accommodation included.
We
journey to Kings Canyon where we
explore the spectacular North and
South Walls, the 'Amphitheatre',
'Lost City' and the 'Garden of Eden'.
After lunch, we travel on to Uluru
(Ayers Rock) for our overnight stay
in our permanent campsite. (LD)
Day
2 - Uluru
to Alice springs We
start early for the Uluru sunrise.
Take a base walk or choose to climb
Uluru. We visit Kata Tjuta (the
Olgas) and learn about the significance
of this spiritual place. After lunch,
we depart for Alice Springs viewing
the rugged desert scenery along
the way. Overnight dorm accommodation

Day
3 - Alice
Springs to Banka Banka We cross the Tropic of Capricorn then pull over at Ti Tree for the opportunity to purchase authentic Aboriginal art. Next stop is the Barrow Creek Pub where we view the historic Telegraph Station. Further 'up the track' we explore the Devils Marbles; precariously balanced granite boulders sacred to the traditional owners', before arriving at Banka Banka Cattle Station where we camp overnight. Weather permitting - take a dip in the picturesque waterhole. (LD)

4 - Banka
Banka to Katherine Gorge We
head further north to experience
the famous & oldest outback
pub at Daly Waters. After lunch
we travel to Mataranka Thermal Springs
for a swim, then head to the magnificent
Katherine Gorge for our overnight
camp. (BLD)
Day
5 - Katherine
Gorge to Darwin We
spend half a day canoeing or cruising
(at own expense) the spectacular
Katherine Gorge or take a scenic
helicopter flight (at own expense).
Enjoy lunch before heading to Darwin
via Edith Falls and Adelaide River.
Overnight dorm accommodation included.

6 - Darwin
to Kakadu
We
view the wildlife at
the pristine Mary River Wetlands
for a crocodile & wildlife cruise.
After lunch, we visit Bowali Visitor
Centre and spend the rest of the
afternoon exploring Ubirr Rock.
Overnight camp in Kakadu National
Park. (LD)
Day
7 -
Kakadu to Darwin Our
first stop is the awesome Jim Jim
Falls located deep within striking
escarpment country, where we walk
to the base of the falls. After
lunch, we head to Twin Falls where
we join a National Park operated
boat and boardwalk experience up
the stunning gorge to the waterfall
where you can relax on the sandy
bank, before travelling back to
Darwin. (BL)
