Day 1:
Darwin to Kakadu
Travel
to the pristine Mary River Wetlands for a spectacular
crocodile/ wildlife cruise. After lunch, we visit Bowali
Visitor Centre and then spend the rest of the afternoon
exploring Ubirr Rock where the Aboriginal rock art dates
back an estimated 20,000 years. We camp in our permanent
campsite in Kakadu National Park. (LD)
Day 2:
Kakadu to Darwin
Our first stop is the awesome Jim Jim Falls located deep within striking escarpment country, where we walk to the base of the falls, enjoying the tranquillity of this beautiful area. After lunch, we head to Twin Falls - Here we join a National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience up the stunning gorge to the waterfall where you can relax on the sandy bank before travelling back to Darwin.
