provides a unique setting for any dining experience. The cuisine, featuring
contemporary Australian cuisine, with Mediterranean and Asian flavours, is both
light and appetising - while the service is attentive yet
unobtrusive.
Daily Lunch Special - for just $65.00 including a glass of selected wine. Available Monday to Friday.
Pre-Theatre dinner special - an imaginative main course and a
glass of wine - for $39.00 per person. Available from
5.30-7.30pm Monday to Saturday.
ECQ Bar
Located on
the mezzanine level, the ECQ Bar provides patrons with the city's most
talked-about views of Sydney Harbour, the Bridge and Circular Quay. A popular
meeting place, it is an ideal spot to catch up with friends at the end of a busy
day, or to simply relax over a quiet drink or coffee.
In-suite dining service
As all suites feature a separate
lounge and dining room, in-suite dining is one of the many pleasures enjoyed by
Quay Grand guests. With a wide selection of dishes superbly prepared by our
chefs from Quadrant Restaurant, the in-suite dining menu rivals that of many of
Sydney's better known restaurants. Special dietary requirements can be met on
request.
Guests can also choose to take in the spectacular views whilst dining
on their
private balcony.
For guests wishing to maintain
their fitness levels, or who simply wish to 'work out', the fully-equipped Quay
Grand gymnasium offers every facility to tone up tired muscles. For those
seeking a less strenuous way to relax, there's also the opportunity to enjoy a
soothing sauna, spa, or leisurely swim in the hotel's heated pool. And, as Quay
Grand is right on the shoreline facing Circular Quay, activities such as
climbing the arch of the Harbour Bridge, harbour cruises, shopping tours, or
visiting the many galleries and museums, are all just a short stroll from the
hotel.
Function and meeting
facilities for up to 140 guests
With its
breathtaking location, five-star hotel service and superb catering, Quay Grand
is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, cocktail parties, dinner parties,
meetings and conferences. The Macquarie Room, located on the lower level
mezzanine, is suitable for private boardroom-style meetings of eight
people...while the aptly named Boardroom can accommodate meetings of up to 14
people, or cocktails for 30. For larger gatherings of up to 140 guests, the
Harbour Bridge Room is a stylish and spacious venue offering privacy and
convenience. When required, it readily converts into two smaller function rooms.
In addition to these three function rooms, there is an impressive pre-function
area on the same level, known as "The Gallery". Ideal for displays or guest
registration area, it also serves as a pre-function cocktail venue with
spectacular views over Sydney Harbour .. a magnificent and breathtaking sight at
any time of day.
