Sponars Chalet, is a historical landmark just eight kilometres from Perisher Blue. Beautifully situated with lake and fountain out front, it is well known by all NSW skiers.
Sponars is a traditional ski lodge offering the best of mountain hospitality and atmosphere.

Worry Free Ski Holidays
Skiing couldn't be easier - you can park right at Sponars and drive the short distance to the resorts, or catch our air conditioned courtesy bus. 
All inclusive packages are available which include accommodation, meals, lift passes, ski or board lessons, and hire. Alternatively, book accommodation with meals and buy a daily lift pass. 

Kids Club and Family accommodation
Our very reasonable children's tariff (3-14 years) includes supervised activities from 6-9pm Sunday to Thursday. A weekly programme of activities is arranged, including fancy dress, fireworks, toasting marshmallows, talent quests and more. 
Meals designed to please the pre-teens are served at a separate, supervised dinner sitting as part of our evening kids club.

We genuinely strive to provide all the help and advice you need to enjoy your ski experience. All our rooms, which vary from King, Queen and Doubles with ensuite bathrooms to lodge style budget rooms, are fully serviced and individually heated. 
After a hard days skiing you will appreciate the warmth of our large, comfortable lounge areas and friendly licensed bar. Hearty mountain breakfasts and delicious three course dinners are served in the relaxed atmosphere of our dining room. 

We have a wide variety of family entertainment at Sponars. 


Equipment Hire
We pride ourselves on the attention and care given to all guests using Sponars ski hire. We offer the latest equipment and clothing, upgraded each year, at competitive prices.  

All rooms serviced daily, tea & coffee making facilities in rooms.

Single share beds available in rooms with shared facilities at twin share rate. Single occupancy available at 170% of twin share rate. 1, 3 or any number of night stays available. Children rates based on sharing a room with one or more adults at twin share rates.

Tariffs for the weeks prior to 30 June and from 8 September will be significantly different. Sponars is offering a 'No frills' deal of bed and breakfast (continental) including parking and use of swimming pool complex, luggage storage and showers on days of arrival and departure but excluding courtesy bus, Kids Club, daily servicing of rooms and dinner.

We have rooms which sleep from 2 to 6 people, rooms with shared and private facilities. 

Please note that ski hire is still available to guests.
