The Black Bear Inn is Thredbo's Family owned and operated Tyrolean style lodge. Situated in the heart of Thredbo with great traditional Austrian/German character, the 'Bear' is famous for its authentic bar and licensed restaurant. Black Bear Inn has had a major face-lift with external painting and upgraded entrance that now has improved ski lockers. All rooms are centrally heated and have private facilities plus TV's, direct dial telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Every room has a view of the mountain with deluxe spa rooms also available. Other facilities include ski and boot lockers, refurbished guest lounge with games, books, magazines, and videos. All rooms are serviced daily. The lodge is only a short walk to the chairs, shops, and local nightlife. The Black Bear Inn is a family owned and operated business since 1971 and we pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service.
